Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
Celts are one ping pong ball away from a disaster trade with okc
This is all terrible
The arc needs to be shot into the sun with the advance the ball on a timeout rule
Use real basketball rules for travels
Charges are good defense, anyone who says otherwise doesn’t understand help defense or the defensive shell
It is not the players fault that it’s almost impossible to get a charge call without falling. That is on the culture of the game and the referees to fix.
A defender has the exact same right to a spot that an offensive player does as long as they get there first while in legal guarding position
Totally agree.
Doing away with the charge would be like MLB saying batters get 5 strikes before they strike out.
Requiring defenders to be set for a full second first off is arbitrary and very hard to call accurately. Second, any decent offensive player isn’t charging into somebody who is set for a full second.
What's confusing me is that fact that he didn't say the woman he was arguing with was being racist or said something racist. He claims security kicked him out because it was a black vs white argument.
Just seems very strange for an organizations security to use racial bias for a sport where 80% of the league is black and so are most of the fans.
But hey, the investigation will eventually tell us more.
Eh…
Not hard to make that leap.
If 40’s is accurate (big if they’re not hearing the other side) there was a minor confrontation between a black man and a white woman.
The man was removed and nothing happened to the woman, when seemingly the woman started it.
Not sure what else you would attribute that to.
So he was removed because of the color of his skin? Look, i'm not going to bring this kinda shit in this forum - i've got the PF for that.
But to me it sounds like he wanted to play the "I'm the celebrity" card.
Security approached both of them.
I would be willing to bet this is reconciled in a way that keeps it from being controversial. There is a rug this will get swept under.I want to hear the other side before judging.
Guessing his account isn’t 100% accurate.
But if it was and he was cordial to a woman who was heckling him?
And then he got booted when security approached?
That is terrible.
Betting there is more to it. But if not? Kings security is very wrong.
Thanks for beating the Bulls, bumped the Lakers pick up a rung to 17.Heat with the 18th pick

I keep forgetting the Lakers have a first rounder.
For some reason I have it in my head that they don't have one for like the next decade.
It was only a pick swap with the Pelicans this year.
Austin Reaves, you made it Son!!!!!!!
These Dudes already got him on the overrated list.
But, LMFAO @Trae Young being #1.
Scott Foster is also NOT a surprise.
Jordan as the GOAT as well.
Just because these younger Dudes grew up on Lebron, doesn’t mean they lean that way.
What happened to Kobe was a horrible tragedy.
But 7% voting him as GOAT? 3rd highest total?
Cmon man.
Honor his memory by talking about his greatness. But calling him GOAT is hyperbole in reckless fashion. Nobody should go there. The resume just isn’t there.

It depends who voted him.
The current generation of players, the older ones at least, played with him when he was the best player in the league, or just coming off it. Guys like KD, Kyrie or Lebron
The younger players saw more of him than they did Jordan. They based their game on Kobe (even if Kobe did copy Jordan, lol).
I disagree with them, but I get their point
Depending on the day, he’s #10 or #11 for me.What happened to Kobe was a horrible tragedy.

3rd best Laker, maybe.Kobe isn't 3rd at all
I agree
Yeah, age definitely plays a role.
It's the same among fans. You ask older fans who the GOAT is, the majority are going to say MJ. Ask younger fans and most will say Lebron.
For players, there is a group that kind of came in between MJ and Lebron who idolized Kobe, plus a few from the end of his career when he was in "Uncle Kobe mode" and mentoring some of them. It would make sense that some of them would vote for Kobe.
