I have to agree with DJ here. Only the one who took the risk can name the terms. You can always let him slide, I did that for the people that bet me Trump would beat Biden.

The T-Wolves are making me feel a little better about the Lakers struggling with them the other night.

Reminds me of when Shaq came within 1 vote of being a unanimous MVP. Seems like there's always got to be the 1 homer or the one who thinks "no one should be unanimous".

And yeah, if you're going to be "that guy", at least vote for someone who belongs in the convo.

When someone makes a ridiculous vote, they should lose their privilege to vote.

Would keep voters honest.

Anyone who really believes a Kessler vote is fair shouldn’t be voting anyway.

In some ways it's worse than Greg Oden. Oden had legitimate terrible injuries. This dude sits out 75 percent of a season with a hamstring.

It is worse in every way.

I hate when Oden gets brought up with biggest draft busts of all time.

The pick obviously was a huge disappointment. But it wasn’t Oden’s fault in any way.

He just had awful luck with some terrible injury issues

Has this worm turned? If Zion wants out he wants to go some place with talent. He likely doesn’t want his new squad to give up much.

I’m Friday High so talking out my ass but why don’t athletes do more of that?

You know who has talent?

New Orleans.

They aren’t a title contender, but they would be that next tier of team any title contender would be scared to face.

That is if they had all their best players active.

Just not sure where he thinks he is going to go and them have better pieces than NO does after trading for him.

I guess maybe if he tanks his own value enough he can have some options?

Bold strategy.

This is a tough one this year. All 3 guys took their game to the next level. I think the biggest coming out party though was Markk when you consider Brunson’s playoffs last year which resulted in a big deal. All 3 guys are deserving though.

It has got to be Markkanen

Others were already very good before this year. Mark was just another guy in the rotation. And he played like a star.

That’s the way I lean if I have a vote. I’m just not sure how people traditionally vote on this one. Technically, Shai had the best season of the 3. Brunson is the guy who brought his team to the highest level based on wins/losses playoff seeding.

But if they use the criteria we seem to be using then it’s gotta be Markk. He probably rose from a top 70-80 player to a top 30-35 player.

Yeah.

I just don’t like when most improved goes to a guy who is a borderline superstar.

There are other accolades for those players.

Give SGA his due as an all NBA 2nd teamer. Markk just doesn’t rise to that level.

All these dudes in the 2017 draft:
Tatum
JJJ
Fox
Markk
Mitchell
Bam
Jarrett Allen
OG Anunoby
Kyle Kuzma
Derrick White
Hart
Monk
Kennard

And the Sixers end up with Fultz and they traded draft capital to take him. Oy vey.
