I wonder if the league will ever even consider squaring up the conferences again? Probably not.

Eh. It is really strange the West has been so much stronger, but the East cant collectively get their shit together. When one team puts it together another falls apart.

I mean the path through the east is much easier, that’s what I mean.
so you want to move teams in the West to the East (and vice versa) or just do away with East-West?

and if the former, what if the East then get much tougher as it has been before (but been awhile)?

Yeah I just asked the question. It’s been quite some time since the east was stronger with stars moving to the west. I wouldn’t have a problem doing away with conferences though.

does make for easier scheduling though...and travel. Guessing that's the only reason to keep them.

No idea why the Cavs played their starters in New York.

Thank you Orlando.

Knicks clinched the 3 seed
in the EC even after losing to the Cavs tonight, by virtue of the Magic beating the Pacers
NY owns the 2-1 season head to head tiebreaker over Indy...who will remain the 4th seed.

NY ( 50-31) will be @ Brooklyn on Sunday...while Indy (49-32) will be @ Cleveland to finish the reg season.
Orlando will be in the EC play-in round as the 7 seed.
