You’re not a true fan if you don’t stick through it all thick and thin. Ohio St has been had plenty of shitty players and coaches enter the program. Not every player will represent that program the right way, that’s with any program.
I mean look at ND, Brian Kelly was essentially a murderer but I’m sure ND fans still rooted for their team when he was coaching, before and after.
In my case, Urban was not the best human and made mistakes but I could care less. I am supporting the team and their success. You can’t control personnel stuff. It just comes with it all.
Oh as I have gotten older stuff like that’s means more to me for sure. I think that is true of most people. No competitive school is or ever has been completely clean. I’m pretty happy where my team is at the moment along those lines. Now to fix the on the field stuff.

The Thunder have 19 games left. Assuming they stay healthy I can’t give them over 10 wins at the most. I doubt that makes the play in. That’s fine I guess. Next season is huge.

He just keeps ignoring that critical point
It’s definitely a point, though it could be argued that Aaron Gordon is as important as Porter. He has been good this season.

I’m not the guy making the character appeal though.

And?

You can question the character of a player, a coach or whatever...that doesn't mean you stop being a fan of the team.

Nothing wrong, for example, with questioning the character/maturity of Ja and Dillon Brooks while still rooting for the Grizzlies.

Last year he wasn't and didn't they trade for Gordon later in the season? This been AG best season. He never played like this before in his career

Without their second and third best players for the whole season
Sure. But it’s still for a 6th seed. The “MVP” was great and it literally didn’t matter.

I don’t ignore shit. I meet shit head on. Anyway you slice it, dude’s team was a 6 seed. Most Valuable of what? The team was never going anywhere.

He actually played 75 games for Denver last year and had a great year. Numbers were there to be had obviously.

6th seed.

You know the Nuggets last season were without their 2nd & 3rd best players for most of the season. You don't think that had an impact on things?

This season they've been mostly healthy and have the best record in the WC.

Yes I do. What does last year have to do with this year? His team was a 6 seed. If your team doesn’t even have home court in the first round you aren’t MVP of the league.

This is coach of the year shit where they don’t actually give the award to the best coach…they give it to the Little Engine That Could because they out perform expectations.

Best player on a 6 seed should never be MVP. Never. And that’s true when it was Westbrook in OKC.

It’s much better than round 1. And the reason they were home in round 2 is because they were down 0-2 because the real MVP didn’t play games 1 and 2 because of his broken face.

Over the last 20+ years no one seeded 4 or lower has won an NBA title. Everyone knew a 6 seed wasn’t doing anything.

I agree. But did you forget what you said?

6th seed.

You mentioned the 6th seed.

Yes I did and you brought up that Denver is the one seed in a dog shit underperforming conference. It’s funny to me that last year’s narrative winning didn’t matter but this year a big part of the argument is that he’s the one seed.

The real MVP is Giannis.
