Not all free agents are free agents yet. Some were notified that they are being cut and because of thatthey are being listed as free agents now. The example i just heard was Emmanual Sanders will not be a free agent until 4:00 PM tomorrow when the 2021 seson officially begins. He's going to sign with Buffalo but it can't be announced because he is still officially a Saint and will be until he's cut at 4:01 pm and his cut affects the Saints salary cap. NFL Network says that more FAs will be available by 4:30 pm tomorrow as teams clean up to get under the cap.

Great FA period. Like one never seen before in NE.

Send Gilmore and a 2nd or 3rd rounder for a decent QB. Like Carr?
Take the best corner available at 15. Draft a QB in the late rounds.

Wow what a start to the off season.

The Patriots will not re-sign free agent C David Andrews before the market officially opens on Wednesday, though the sides will remain in contact.

Andrews was already free to talk with the entire league, of course, but the Pats will officially let the market set his price. As NFL Network's Michael Giardi points out on Twitter, this is a tactic coach Bill Belichick has used before. Andrews is the premier center on the market, while the Pats have already lost a blue chip interior lineman in Joe Thuney. This power rushing attack would surely like to bring Andrew back.

Bills signed WR Emmanuel Sanders, formerly of the Saints, to a one-year, $6.0 million contract.

The Bills released John Brown for cap purposes and were quick to find his immediate replacement. Unlike most teams, Buffalo has toyed with four-receiver sets at times. That could be a bigger part of their 2021 playbook with Sanders, Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, and intriguing second-year pro Gabriel Davis under contract. Sanders, 34, will most likely rotate snaps with Davis in three-receiver sets on the perimeter. Neither Sanders nor Davis are exciting redraft picks at this point.

It's such a head scratcher. What is BB seeing that 90% of the world isn't seeing?

Cam's problems are mental and physical. I don't think they can be fixed regardless of the talent put around him.

I think BB still has a move or two to suprise us all?

Maybe moving up in the draft and gettind a QB that Cam can mentor? Just don't give him any fashion advise please Cam.

An honest question, seeing as BB felt compelled to sign not one but two TEs and drafted two last year, is it safe to say he squandered those picks last year? Am I the only one that feels while BB can work a draft for selections that his picker is broken as often as it works correctly?

I think he over reached to fill a huge need. He and Josh were hoping that one of them was ready. Without training camp, neither were. Josh is at his best when he can operate the complex playaction or Jumbo run and has two TEs anchoring the OL. Gronk/Hernandez, Gronk/Bennett, Gronk/Izzo. Defenses would bring in the big guys to stop the run and the pass would get dumped off to Gronk and the DBs were overwhelmed. If they brought in the smaaller guys to rush, the hand off would go to the RB and he'd get 8-10 yards.

Asiasi and keene will learn from Smith and henry and the Patriots will have solid bookends.

He squandered nothing. He uses draft picks as a means to gather resources and not all the resources work as planned, but many work better than planned. It's the way he's always done it. He could not care less about anyone's pick by pick score card.

Squandered only in the sense that the pickings were slim and NE had a need.

BB misses on as many as he hits on. He's found so many studs late and in the UDFA pool.

To fairly asses you need to look at the # of picks he's had. Verse the NFL average of players that meet or exceed their draft predictions. Also where the Pats have historically drafted position wise. Taking into account the need at that current time. BB has had the luxury on taking fliers on futrure potential.

Well it does not look like the two TEs are working out, so to me at this point squandered feels about right.

We've all said at one time that the draft is a pure crap shoot. For every Peyton Manning there's a Ryan Leaf. For Every Jerry Rice there's a Chad Johnson. What looks like a great pick is actually a booger.

I feel he did waste those picks. There were several TE's ranked much higher than those he chose. Just like the kicker pick. Several kickers ranked higher and he blew it.
