2021 Patriots and Free Agency

Remaining Patriot free agents and my opinion.....

C David Andrews - Sign him ASAP and don't let the Chiefs or Jets get him.
RB Rex Burkhead - Knee surgery recovery is not going as well as expected. Will not be ready to start the season.
DL Adam Butler - He's looking for a huge payday and BB ain't gonna pony up.
WR Damiere Byrd - Gone.
LB Shalique Calhoun - Might come back but he'll be a cheap back up
LB Brandon Copeland - Same as Calhoun
DB Cody Davis - Nope
OL Jermaaine Eluemenor - Nope
K Nick Folk - He's a strong possibility but the patriots have two on the roster and Bill's not likely to pay three.
DL Lawrence Guy - Gone
QB Brian Hoyer - Gone
WR Donte Moncrief - Gone
CB Jason McCourty - I think Bill would like to get youger. Only if he comes back cheap.
LB John Simon - Possible. He wasn't even a two snap LB last year. If he's cheap, he's a reliable piece.
RB James White - Would love to have him back but he appears to want to stay in Florida with his mom. If he does, teams will discount the hell out of his offers. Not to be a hard ass, but JW, you need to move on with YOUR life and not get stuck trying to make others lives better.

If I had my druthers, I'd really like to see Bill go after Golden Tate or Emmanual Sanders today.

The critical things that need to be done are signing Andrews or a veteran center, trying to get JW to come back and quite importantly, decide whether or not to bring back Folk and have a real kicker comp in camp.

I see where they signed another DT so I now feel that D Line will not be addressed early. Does anyone feel BB might trade down for draft capital after this FA haul

Or with many other positions of need at least partially addressed, maybe he trades up?

I texted back and forth with my sons when this news broke. I really figured that BB was out on Henry once he got Smiyth to sign on the dotted line, but I'm ecstatic that I was wrong. Get Josh McDaniels a solid QB to work with and NE should be right back in the mix.

Well maybe BB will take a QB he has addressed a lot of needs. They way I see this at this point and it's stupid to say this but...

#15 Trade up for a QB of interest. I am just not so sure BB see's that.

#15 Trade down for more draft capital target a QB after round 2 with a lot of upside.

#15 Take best player available maybe a Safety or ILB.

After this feeding frenzy I am at a loss.

I read an article bashing the FA sigings.
Could not resist checking on the reporter Charles Robinson.
