How in the HELL do they justify this pick when they are so many good players they could have selected at Center, OL, LB, and CB. They have lost their collective minds. Didn't the Rams learn anything from the Tavon Austin and N. Webster experiments? This guy looks all of 150lbs dripping wet and what on the planet has McSnead even remotely coming-up with to pick this guy this high? Both McVay and Snead need their head examined and I believe we are now going to see the effect of losing Brad Holmes to the Lions who are having a damn good draft so far. Seriously?
I said losing Holmes was going to affect the Rams drafting. Didn’t think it would get this bad.

Atwell is rated 10-15th by any a number of websites like PFF and Walter Football and we waste this pick reaching for this turd, 2.0. I am so pissed, I could spit nails. No number one draft pick until 2023 and McSnead takes this guy with the second rounder. I read a pre-draft article that stated that both members of McSnead don't value LBs that much and won't take any this high in the draft. Apparently they don't value the O-line either but Harberry who replaced Kromer really helped-out this year. What kind bullshit is this?

Rams just are not good at drafting early it seems. Cam Akers is about the only one they’ve hit on in the 2nd round. Gerald Everett. Taylor Rapp. Both 2nd rounders.

They are better mid to later rounds. No doubt

And I don't understand why. WTH is their problem?

Meanwhile we pass on a host of LBs, miss trading-up for either Asante Samuels or Dickerson, and we take a potential deep threat when we already signed one in Jackson who has a huge injury history. So we compound the problem by selecting a guy who is going to have an injury history when we start playing the games.

Hell, if you are going to be stupid, trade up and get a RB like Javonte Williams. Big kid who can run your ass clean over.

Meinerz will probably be a pick in the third, although I am not holding my breath with these dumbasses. Ten-to-one, McSnead drafts a punter with the number 88 pick.

Yeah, I don’t get not trading down. They could’ve got Atwood later and picked up an extra pick or two.

They had the chance to really nail this draft with LB, OL and CB, and they crap the bed with a midget WR pick.

why do these guys hate drafting playmakers at LB position and go with projects who can’t stay healthy?

But not as director, just as a scout, and that doesn’t mean he was for the pick either.

He was there for the good and bad. It’s one pick. I don’t like it but it’s far from over

Agreed, but why continue to ignore the biggest holes on the team and draft a midget WR they could’ve taken in the 3rd? At least trade down first.

Lions first pick was a no brainer and a good one. Since then they’ve taken 2 DTs in the 2nd and 3rd even with having Brockers
