Nobody was fired you basketball expert.
There was likely some pressure on Ainge, if not a push.

Who's talking about pressure Ainge had? Pasta said- Celtics players BS got people fired. Nobody got fired.
Nope that option is the only reason Miami didn't pull the trigger on him 2 yrs ago. Who the heck opt out of 44 mil at his age?
So, why are you arguing from the opposite view point on the Lakers/Suns thread?
I'm arguing from the Heat POV 2 years ago. They wanted flexibility this summer so they did not think someone 36 years old would opt out of 44 million which is why that trade wasn't made. I'm sure had they known he would opt out, he would have been a heat the past two seasons.
CP3 did the right thing if him and his team know he's going to get a deal close to a 100M. Great for them but back when Houston was shopping him, I'm sure that 44M option is what scared most good teams away
I keep telling y'all he's this generation's Barkley in that respect. Plus he's smarter about the game.Draymond has been really good on Inside the NBA. He's gonna be a natural media fit when he retires

Well sure he's better at many things. But same kind of personality, big mouth, not afraid to get into it, lots of people hate him and think he's a "dirty" or "chippy" player, lotta techs, etcYeah, I wouldn't throw shade at him calling him the next Barkley. He's already better analytically. Also, no marble mouth.
Better in the studio than on the courtDraymond has been really good on Inside the NBA. He's gonna be a natural media fit when he retires
