Well sure.

Ben Simmons is the better player by a good bit.

But Draymond also brings a lot of intangibles that add wins. Talking to some Philly fans on here it seems some of you think Simmons is the exact opposite of that.

Green and Simmons are similar in a lot of ways. IMO, Simmons is basically the more athletic version of Draymon. Not because they have similar games, per se. But because they are both the ultimate glue guys. Their stats don't represent their impact on the court.

Starting to feel like the Lakers are basically locked into that play-in game unless they find a way to beat Portland tomorrow night.

thats a big game tomorrow night.

LeBron- for the first time in his career- has a fairly serious injury. He will be 37 next year.

He is still a perennial MVP candidate.....that is for sure.....at the same time.....

there is not a player alive in any sport that has defeated father time. LeBron has beeen able to fend him off longer than almost everyone else, maybe more so than ANYONE else in NBA history, but at 36 I think the clock is finally starting to tick.

aint gonna be an easy road this year in the playoffs- and 37 next year...

How the fuck does rolling your ankle = back spasms?

I mean at least there's no serious ankle damage but damn. Did they check the scoreboard, see they were down 20, and just say "fuck it"?

Simmons is an enigma. I agree with the comment about Green’s intangibles. I think he adds a toughness and a snarl to those really good Warriors teams.

Green and Simmons are similar in a lot of ways. IMO, Simmons is basically the more athletic version of Draymon. Not because they have similar games, per se. But because they are both the ultimate glue guys. Their stats don't represent their impact on the court.
@flyerhawk said it best. Draymond is the ultimate glue guy that sacrifices his game/body for the betterment of the team.

Not sure anyone thinks of Simmons as a glue guy.
As @fightinfunbags said, he's an enigma. Maybe he gets unlocked. And maybe he doesn't.

Simmons might be the better player by stats, but as far as their value to their respective teams, does GSW win their titles without Draymond?
