Thunder threw caution to the wind for some reason and played Dort and Bazley, thankfully they still managed to lose to the Kings, barely.
looking at the remaining schedules for Cavs and OKC hard to find many wins. Same is true of Orland.....luckily, Detroit and/or Minnesota could win a couple, maybe.

You think playing with Steph Curry might have some influence on his assist numbers?

Like I said, if you think that Green is an above average offensive player, more power to you. Not even sure our resident homers are willing to die on that hill.

Well the range of which you're classifying Green is shifting. You said he was a liability on offense. No one is saying he's a tremendous offensive player, but most are arguing he's not a liability like you are classifying him.

Also Green is a huge influence on Curry as well as vice versa.

I maintain that Green is a liability on offense. Shopson is arguing that Green is an ABOVE offensive player.

Yes we know you maintain that. You're wrong.

Dray averages 8.7 assists. And according to stat-muse.com Green (173) has a better +/- than Steph (163) this season. If he was a liability on the offensive end wouldn't he have a negative +/- ?

I think the fairest thing to say, and to summarize all our posts, is that Green was really great for one season, was pretty darn good for about 3 other seasons, and is now a solid above to slightly above average NBA player- nothing special, not a difference maker, but still a net positive that is basically a high level role player at this point.

If he was more than that, i highly doubt the Warriors would be where they are considering the statistical (emphasis on statistical) season Curry is having- and that Wiggins has been a pleasant surprise as well.

and i dont think anyone would have any arguments with the accuracy of my quip to msg- Julius Randle wipes his ass with Draymond at this point.

in todays NBA having a guy that cant shoot on the floor is a handicap. It can be made up- but it basically means you really cant live with another guy like that on the court or you start getting into real trouble.

When I’m really down on Ben Simmons I refer to him as the More Highly Drafted Draymond Green. That pretty much tells the story.

This is true. It's why the Warriors have gotten in trouble in spurts, particularly early on in the season when Oubre was struggling from outside.

I mean its clearly true.

A guy of his size that shoots 43%, cant shoot a 3 to save his life, and is losing his athleticism is going to be like that.

in todays NBA having a player that is not a threat to score makes it tough. You might be able to get away with one guy who isnt a threat ot score- but when you have another - then it starts getting bad.

See that is a take I wouldn't argue with. Even though I don't fully agree, it's nonetheless reasonable. He's a difference maker, but probably not to the valuation of Warrior fans, but much more than non-Green fans want to believe too.

Randle is clearly a superior player right now, but Randle is a guy who's at least getting mentioned in MVP talks. Not that he'll win, but it speaks to his impact on his team and his play. So the comparison right now is just a way of demeaning Green. It's like saying Dame Lillard wipes his ass with Mike Conley. Ok...but is that really a fair comparison?

Who ever compared Randle to Draymond?

You'll never get it, you're the most Dunning-Kruger poster here.

"fairest thing" LOL

I still think Winslow can turn it around with the right team/coach, but he has to want it (and stay healthy).
That's the point. He's been this way in Miami and now Memphis. He doesn't want it.

Well sure.

Ben Simmons is the better player by a good bit.

But Draymond also brings a lot of intangibles that add wins. Talking to some Philly fans on here it seems some of you think Simmons is the exact opposite of that.

Simmons is an enigma. I agree with the comment about Green’s intangibles. I think he adds a toughness and a snarl to those really good Warriors teams.
