I mean it is possible. Portland play Denver in the finale. Not a lock by any stretch. Lakers have the easier opponent tomorrow

I hope it doesnt impact seeding for Utah, although I am not sure what the Spurs were supposed to do in these games.

a 4-5 game versus Dallas/Portland

a 3-6 game versus a full strength Lakers squad

Lakers need to beat Indy (currently up 10 with seconds left in the 3rd) and then beat a busted up Pelicans team with nothing to play for (Zion is out, they sat their starters once they got eliminated from playoff chances). Then you have to hope Denver beats Portland. If that happens, Denver is the 3 seed and the Lakers will be the 6 seed, avoiding the play in. Chances are actually pretty good. At least much better than they were a couple of days ago. We can thank the Clippers for what appears to be them tanking to avoid Lakers 1st round match up
