He was damn good in Toronto but I still wouldn't have made that move

He avg just under 20 PPG on 50% from the field and 44% from 3. Now in Portland, he is down to 44% from the field and 34% from 3.

Trent gave Portland 15 on about 40% from 3.

He is basically doing what Trent did but isn't as effective and there is an obvious chemistry problem that wasn't there with Trent.

But, Trent got most of his production with CJ out.

I don’t think Portland wanted to play Trent with both CJ and Dame at the same time. The idea is that Powell could play with those 2.

Again, it just didn’t work.
