I popped my ACL many years after my my baseball days, leg pressing, didn’t feel anything right after, but 2 days later , knee just blew up. So, did I stop working out , NO. I did other leg exercises to compensate. Am I nuts ? Yea, when you were brought up to play, lie about injury , get your ass beat...

Game vs Fresno Giants, had 3-2 count on me, bases juiced, fouled one off plate, came back up hit me right in mouth, tooth cut through facial skin, stayed in game, took first on a walk , RBI game winner. after game, 6 stitches , next day on field ready to play, had Charlie Hayes impressed
