This season has been a disaster for the Raps.
Everything that could go wrong is.

Haven't been out here much due to life.
But this season sucks.

Like so many reports, his comments apparently were taken out of context and he was pretty upset about it.

Seems like was exactly what he said. Now those insinuating it was all about Drurant might be out of context. But a guy with multiple titles can get away with what he said.

You know full well that you can take an exact quote from somebody and completely misconstrue the person’s meaning by not putting it in context with the rest of what they said. You know this because you do it on here all the time.

not having a real home court sucks--- its not just the fans- its guys being comfortable, etc.....they were in trouble from the start.

at least you have a really good player in Siakam and a very solid one in Van Fleet to build around.

I can see why you'd agree with Kerr here as when your foolish comments are thrown back at you you play the taken out of context card.

should have said he didn't mind the drama free 2020 season and left it at that. Only thing taken out of context were the inferences made about Durant as he never mentioned Durant and they cannot know he was talking about him.

But he did, in fact, say he preferred the bottom feeder season over winning a title. This is not out of context and what some don't agree with.

i saw this comment and i didnt have any context since i have blocked wamu for well over a year now- i was curious as to see what you were talking about so i had to hit the button. lol.

I pumped Ainge and the Celtics up so much 3-4 years ago and how bright there future was and how many assets they had and everything. For the most part Ainge squandred so many of those picks. So many people (myself included) thought the Celtics had a great young team and a bunch of assets to supplement them with cheap controllable players through the draft, and cap room, for the next few years.


It really never came to pass. They find themselves with a bunch of other teams- about .500 and a middling playoff team in the Eastern Conference.

a lot of people had justifiable high expectations for the Celtics not too long ago- and, for the most part, Ainge pissed it away.


11 first round picks since 2016. 11.

Maybe the FO had decided it's time to rebuild? Got the title, but now you have a team, that really isn't a serious contender anymore. They have Siakam and a bunch of nice pieces. They need another star or near star to pair with him, imo.

Depends on what the fight was about and how bad it got. Stars and coaches argue all the time.

Same. Heck, I've defended the Celtics to Celtics fans who were having doubts about them. A fair amount is definitely on Ainge, but they've had some tough luck too. Can't really put Haywards leg falling off on him and while there were signs that Kyrie was crazy, no one knew how crazy, so he did a deal that pretty much any GM would have.

But he's definitely made a fair amount of mistakes. Starting with, hanging on to a lot of them for too long trying to "win" every trade.
