Mos teams would have beat Miami when Memphis did. It was their 5th game in 7 days and 2nd b2b in that stretch. Miami isn't a great team but outside of top 3 in the east, the rest of the conference is all mediocre. Miami going to finish at least 6-8 games above .500 and be a top 5 seed which im perfectly fine with.

And I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. As a Sixers fan, I want no parts of Miami, Spo, and Jimmy Buckets come playoff time.

Congrats to B-Ball Paul(aka Paul Reed) on winning rookie of the year and MVP of the G League.

Man, it’s so nice to have a well run organization again on South Broad street. Maybe as soon as next year this is a guy who can give them some offense with the 2nd unit.

In fairness, it seems like all the power conferences kind of suck this year.

It's a weird year. Covid obviously made the committee's job harder. And it also placed even more value on teams that have played together for a while, ones with lots of 3-4 year players, which is what smaller programs do better. Since everyone's practicing and other schedules were disrupted, it benefits teams with experience.

Seriously, I don't know what to make of this other than he's ok with losing, so long as it's his way. We're about 1 more losing season away from Steph demanding a trade because knowing him, he wouldn't ask for anyone to be fired.

I don’t think he is saying that at all.

What I think he is saying is that there was a ton of drama on the ‘19 team and he didn’t have fun coaching that year because of it.

That is all. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Thats what made the BIG good this year though lol. They had a lot of continuity. The teams it killed were kentucky, duke etc

Imo, you're reading too much into it. I can easily see how last year would be easier. Along with the pressure to win another title, that last year with KD there was a bunch of drama between him and Draymond, the injuries in the finals, all of the constant speculation about whether or not KD would be back...

Compare that to last year where, not only was there no drama, he knew he was getting a lottery pick at the end of the season and there was no pressure to win.

Basically, he got to take a bit of a break last year and get paid well for it knowing that once everyone's back from injury, he'll be coaching a contender again.

My guess is that his intention was to speak on how he enjoyed coaching the team in ‘20 and it just came out a little wrong.

For sheer entertainment the league should force a trade of Draymond to the Nets and have a camera crew follow him around
