Link where I said it doesn't.

Just because racism exists, doesn't mean that every time a minority doesn't get hired or a white person does it's because of race.
Link where I said that ^^^

You do know a soft schedule usually follows when you had one of the toughest schedules in basketball right? What lame excuse are you going to use when they beat Phoenix and/or Portland this week?
lol...cmon now.

does it surprise you they had a winning streak vs. the Magic and Cavs and Bulls and Pelicans and then lost 3 straight to Indiana and Memphis?

It wouldnt surprised me if they won both of the Phoenix Portland or lost both of Phoenix Portland

my point is that the Heat are a pretty mediocre team that has earned their record of being a smudge over .500 at 22-21.

I have USC going out in the Sweet 16. I've seen a couple of folks predict them for the Elite 8, but I'd be surprised.
Since Oregon won that's who USC would play next, pretty good shot there

Mos teams would have beat Miami when Memphis did. It was their 5th game in 7 days and 2nd b2b in that stretch. Miami isn't a great team but outside of top 3 in the east, the rest of the conference is all mediocre. Miami going to finish at least 6-8 games above .500 and be a top 5 seed which im perfectly fine with.

Yeah, I kind of forgot how good Oregon is. Because of Covid issues, they lost part of their season. I think most had kind of forgotten about them and they snuck in and took the PAC regular season title over the last couple of games.

Nash had no coaching experience and you know that was the point.

Lue had experience as an assistant.

Derrick Fisher and Jason Kidd had no experience either.

Also, COY is a meaningless accolade given to the coach of a team with a great record. Scott Brooks won COY and he is a bad coach. Nick Nurse had a slightly better situation, but he is very clearly a better coach than Casey.

The NFL has major issues with race and coaching. The NBA isn’t perfect, but they are doing a pretty solid job overall.

The Pistons were better with any other player in there other than Sekou who is just an absolute bust.
I was wondering the other night what happened to him. The most recent fantasy blurb makes it sound like a concussion derailed his jump shot this season. He's still very young.

I think it may shake out as more contentious of the ex-players in advanced front office positions how many are white. I saw something about that in passing, haven't read up on or researched it. And of recent coaches who also share de facto GM duties, only Doc Rivers comes to mind.
