I hear you but I watch the guy every game and his ceiling is much higher than CJs in my opinion.

Nah.

He is a very good player. I do not believe he has a superstar ceiling though.

Here are some of the guards in the West:

Curry
Dame
Luka
Ja
Mitchell
Klay
Booker
Murray
Fox

He might sneak in a couple times, but to be a perennial all star in the West, he would have to be on the tier of Curry, Dame and Luka. Sorry, but that isn’t a realistic projection. Too many really good guards in the West.

Jimmy will ball anywhere that guys wanna win.

The two video gamers would be gone.

I think you are right.

Jimmy’s issue in Minnesota was with the personnel and the fact that management chose to pay Wiggins before they paid him. He hated Wiggins.

In my opinion his ceiling is higher than half that list. Obviously I’m assuming he continues to develop.

I doubt Wiggins mother likes him.

The bottom half maybe. That doesn’t make him a perennial all star.

To be a perennial all star in the West you have to be a superstar caliber player.

SGA does not project to ever get to that level. Very nice player. You all definitely got a great deal from the Clippers. But slow down a bit and just enjoy what he is.

Jarrett Allen is starting to turn into a poor man's Rudy Gobert in a lot of ways.

The high field goal %

the rim protection

doesn't need the ball

the blocks

Allen also is young enough and agile enough to be able to switch effectively.

right now he has the best field goal % in the NBA.

Embiid-LeBron MVP Race....

4 straight losses without Davis for LeBron

Sixers 21-11- first in the East
Lakers 22-11- third in the West

Embiid- 29.8 pts, 11.3 boards, 1.3 steals, 1.3 blocks, 3.1 assists, 0.9 turnovers. Elite defense. 52.7% FG, 40.5% on 3's (only 2.8 attempts per game).

LeBron- 25.6 pts, 8.1 rebounds, 0.5 blocks, 1.0 steals, 8.0 assists, 3.9 turnovers. Above average defense. 50.2% FG, 35.1% on 3's (6.7 per game- this was at over 40% not too long ago).

LeBron obviously has the ball in his hands a lot more- and he is still one of the games great passers at 8.0 apg. 3.9 turnovers a game is significantly more than Embiid's 0.9, but so is LeBron's assist totals. Statistically Embiid has LeBron everywhere but assists- which is understandable. Almost 4 turnovers game offsets that a little bit though.

LeBron can still play great defense- he just cant do it all game- its not like that is a recent development- it goes back to early Cleveland 2.0 days.

LeBron has played every game and Embiid has missed a few games so you gotta give LeBron some credit there.

The Lakers cant keep up this type of losing without Davis if LeBron expects to stay in the race. It was not even a competitive game last night.

Embiid's gonna win for the same reason MJ didn't win a couple more. LeBron could arguably have won about 7 MVPs by now.

he DEFINITELY should have had Curry's while LeBron was in his prime.

At this point though- LeBron hasnt won an MVP in 8 years. Its not voter fatigue if Embiid keeps this up. Lakers have just lost 4 straight. The stats are fairly similar- Embiid has an edge though stat wise though. And Embiid is the better defensive player by a fairly significant margin. When AD is healthy LeBron has the better supporting cast.

in a 72 game season is Embiid misses 10-12 games and LeBron plays 72 that is going to give LeBron an argument.

Right now LeBron has an argument---- and its close- but i dont think its super close.

Lotta noise this morning that Lowry wants to be a Sixer. Raps insider says he doesn’t think that’s the case yet.

Of course you don't. You're very predictable.

if Houston loses to the Cavs with no Love, Nance, Drummond on the court and starting Dean Wade and a bunch of college age players---- they should just fold the franchise, lol.
They have sunk as far and faster than the Cavs did.

Allen 10/11 26 pts 18 rbs 5 blocks not bad

just had a nice game of 11/11 26 pts, 17 rbs 3 blocks vs. OKC.

Allen, Garland, Sexton, Okoro are all 22 or under.....right now they arent a good group- but there is some potential there.

They need a wing though badly that can score and make athletic plays. Kuminga Suggs or Green please.
Not as young as them, but Nance fits well. also might have the best non-rookie contract in the NBA.

Much more enjoyable to watch when playing better.....but more losses would help.
