With the unfortunate injury to AD (I don't like to see players get injured no matter who they play for) will LeBron put the Lakers on his back and keep them in or around that # 2 spot in WC? He does that and the MVP trophy will end up in Los Angeles and not Philly.
Guess we'll see, but yeah, the AD injury sucks. Honestly though it is better it happened now than closer to the playoffs...

Let him heal as long as he needs to...

With ADs injury, I think their priorities have changed a bit.

They'll probably try to stay in the top 4 in the WC and aim to stay healthy just before and during the playoffs, rather than go for the #1or #2 spot

The reality though is that LeBron is going to probably finish 2nd.

Again.

MVP runner up should count for something since in most (all) of those years he was the best player.

I honestly don't know what to expect from the Lakers v Heat game tonight.

I could very easily see a Heat win if not a blowout, especially the way Jimmy and Bam have been playing.

It'll be a close game. No way the heat blow them out. Lakers just have to find the switch so lebron can destroy herro and Robinson

One night a team blows a 20 point halftime lead at home, the next they erase an 11 point deficit going into the 4th and win by 18 going away, Ladies and Gentlemen, these are your Phoenix Suns....no lead is safe...ever

@msgkings322

have you seen the Warriors draft pick from this year, Justinian Jessup? He’s playing in the Australian basketball league and he can hoop. He’s averaging almost 15 a game there shooting 50% on 3s.

He would easily be playing for this team right now.
I had not, that's excellent. Is there an idea of when he might join the Ws?

bks is right about Murray. Bubble Murray showed what he might be one day if he keeps working, but he's not Bubble Murray right now. As @tlance said...if he were, the Nugs would be right there with the Lakers et al.

Bubble Murry is a top 10 player and superstar. Outside of the bubble he is maybe a top 30 player and not a superstar. Me saying Murray isn't a top 2/shouldn't be your #2 option if you want to win a title wasn't a hot take which is why I don't get that poster beef with me about that statement.

Miami, Brookly, Boston, and the Lakers should look into him

Feel so bad for Cousins. Dude was a top 15 player and one of the top players at his position then he got killed by injuries and basically ruined his career.

Injuries combined with the devaluation of centers who can’t defend in space.

If you aren’t Nikola Jokic efficient offensively, the stats don’t tend to be worth a lot. Boogie never was very efficient.

Even without the injuries, I think he would be in similar position as Andre Drummond is today.

Radio just said he was a late scratch for "illness". So either he's got the 'rona or tummy troubles

Seems like it just tummy troubles. Rona would have probably ended the warriors season

I don't really get Houston just letting Boogie go for nothing. Nice of them, but weird. Even if they want to do more with Wood, Boogie can help that team some.

I think Miami or Brooklyn make the most sense for him. He'd be great for the Lakers right now with AD, but once AD comes back, its sorta skill overlap with Boogie and Gasol. Both are aging centers that can only do so much. Like I've said multiple times, I think LA could use a guy that can be more of a center (Kief and Harrell ain't it. You will not convince me otherwise even in small minutes) but it needs to be a guy with a little more spring in his step. Unfortunately there isn't really one out there, even with the buyout market coming its hard to see who might be out there
