I remember that 85 series. Cavs had no business competing with them, but if memory serves they lost 3-1 and aggregate score was either tied of cavs had a slight lead. Led by Hinson, World B and the immortal John Bagley.

Yeah that '85 Celtics team was loaded. The Cavs couldn't hang with them.

They made the playoffs at 36-46....

As you know I don't take anything seriously here. You were dropping laughing emojis on me like I don't know when MJ was winning titles.

I already conceded you were right about the Bulls blocking them but it was mostly before MJ started getting titles. No biggie, you were right

I think we were looking at this a little differently. I was taking MJ's entire career into consideration. Before you mentioned it I didn't know you were talking about him pre 1990's. It's all good though.

'dinner bell' Mel Turpin. One of the greatest nicknames ever. He was also known as el mucho grande.

Yeah, he's more of a situational player. But he's still better defensively that just about anyone else they have. lol

That is true.

And damn. That might mean their defense is completely hopeless.

If Drummond gets bought out....I'd love for the Lakers to make a call.....:)
No you wouldn’t lol. Of course there is absolutely no value in buying in him out now. If they are in contention to make the playoffs as well.

I dont think he would be a good fit for the Lakers actually and I don’t expect him to change his game up to be more of a Dwight Howard big. I can see Lebron going apeshit when Drummond is double teamed putting his head down attacking the rim. Could he change his style for a more limited role, I’ve seen it rarely but it isn’t a consistent effort.

Drummond would fix some of the defensive issues and most of the rebounding the Nets lack.

Now that would make sense.

Best case if they could find a way to keep Harris and deal for Drummond (probably not possible).

Then I would think they would be clear favorites even despite fit issues.
