They had one big problem. The roadblock that was Air Jordan.
Not really, it was the Pistons and Celtics blocking those Cavs teams

Bulls knocked the Cavs outta the playoffs three times- '88 ,'89 & '92.

Celtics knocked the Cavs outta the playoff once, in '85. And that was before Daugherty/Price/Nance.

Ok fair enough but Air wasn't winning titles yet. But point taken.

I recently (a few months ago) looked up those Cavs teams and was like, damn. It wasn't just during the regular season they got dominated by the Bulls.....

MJ wasn't winning titles yet? :pound: Who won it all in '92 then? And '91.
Dude you are the saltiest poster sometimes. Was he winning in 85 88 or 89?

So you don't like my response and all you got is I'm salty? I guess you're saying since MJ hadn't won a title in the 80's he really wasn't that elite yet.

Now let me give you a sarcastic example of someone being salty. Fuck you and fuck your feelings. If you choose to take that seriously I will laugh.

As you know I don't take anything seriously here. You were dropping laughing emojis on me like I don't know when MJ was winning titles.

I already conceded you were right about the Bulls blocking them but it was mostly before MJ started getting titles. No biggie, you were right

I remember that 85 series. Cavs had no business competing with them, but if memory serves they lost 3-1 and aggregate score was either tied of cavs had a slight lead. Led by Hinson, World B and the immortal John Bagley.

In 88-89 pretty sure Cavs won season series 6-0 and lost in playoffs (year of The shot). I'll check

edit - yep. 6-0 Cavs. closest game was 5 points.

MJ took his game up a notch in the postseason.

Reg season numbers: 30.1ppg, 6.2rpg, 5.3apg and 2.3spg.

Post season numbers: 33.4ppg, 6.4rpg, 5.7apg and 2.1spg.
