are the Nets the favorite in the East if you had a gun against your head and had to bet on it?

I would bet on the field, but next year, assuming they're still together and a few pieces ... them.

Take the Knicks and the points tonight.....they have been struggling but the Nets are now shorthanded.
This didn't age well

No. I'd actually be more inclined to say yes if they traded World B. Flat or he retired. I also think that whatever happens with him, they are going to be horrible on defense.

They're basically going to be the D'Antoni/Nash Suns, but without the ball movement.

Andrew Wiggins has 9 blocks in the last two games. NINE.

He's been the 2nd best defender on the Warriors this year after Draymond. Offensively he'll need to get his percentages up, but mostly it's because he's got the greenest light ever with the 2nd unit on this squad. Still he's 43.1% from the field and 39.3% from 3.

I've probably slandered him the most around here in the past, but he looks like a different player in all honesty. Regression can always happen, but effort thus far has been fantastic.

his metrics look similar to last year. Wiggins problem has typically been help defense

Shams and Woj are both claiming that a Harden deal is imminent.

After my Seahawks abrupt demise last weekend, this trade is going to be such a kick in the junk.
Id pray this becomes a disaster and you trade Simmons for Durant lol

KD & Embiid would be sick...but Simmons ain't getting KD.

probsvly the best available-ish trade chip.

But supposedly the Rockets wanted Simmons, Maxey and 3 1st round picks. Fuck off with all that noise. So happy they didn't make that move

They may be positioning themselves to deal Kyrie. I don't know where he'd go or what it is he wants. Seems he just doesn't like basketball

Zach Lowe said in his column that if Houston really wanted Simmons, they could have had him. So it sorta sounds like it wasn't Philly saying no
