what position do KD and Giannis play? the 3 or the 4? ESPN has KD as a 4 and Giannis as a 4.

Giannis is prob a 4- with holliday, Divincenzo and Middleton also starting- Connaughton a main bench player.

ESPN has Otto Porter Jr. listed as 4...is he a 4 or a 3 though?

In today's NBA... I'm pretty sure the answer to questions like these is, "it doesn't matter".

All these sports leagues virtue signaled about not trying to get them vaccinated sooner

In a vacuum, based on production probably down the list toward the bottom. Contextually he’s towards probably the lower mid range of these guys.

Like right now would the Blazers rather have Love or Draymond? Or Gallo? Or Aldridge? Draymond would be an ideal fit for them as a 4 even though the guys I listed are better production guys.

So answer for me is depends.

They are both natural 3s that play 3 and 4 but there is essentially no difference with the traditional PF being phased out.

Larry Nance, Mark, Price, Brady Daughety, Craig Ehlo......remember those Cavs pretty well.....

They were a scrappy team.

Loved watching those teams.

Guessing this generation wasn't thrilled (OK..maybe Kawhi was) until they saw evidence as to why it might be a smart thing to do to lengthen a career (and make more money).

As with a few things (like changing teams via FA), we really don't know what they would have done because it wasn't really an option.

Back then, league was still trying to build something and be more than a niche sport. When your championship games are being broadcast at 11:30 at night...you need your stars playing and playing a lot. So, guys would try to come back too early, they would play when they shouldn't, etc.

My guess is, that if the league were in the position then, that it is now...we'd have seen some load management going on as guys figured out they could lengthen their careers and be fresher for the playoffs.

Heat may get 2 wins this weekend wins simply due to covid-19 stuff. No Beal tonight.

No tatum and probably several other Celtics.

I think in the 2nd half we'll see more accurate results

Cavs are getting very original. They threw out a lineup of Dotson, Maker, Nance, Drummond and McGee. 2 C’s and 2 PF’s. Went on a 8-0 run lol
