"Philly looking for a Harden-esque deal in return for Simmons."

-Woj

LOL

Maybe a trade like this one lol, but I'm guessing that's not what they mean:

The Oklahoma City Thunder traded away James Harden, a future MVP in only his third season, for Kevin Martin, rookie Jeremy Lamb, two future first-round picks (Steven Adams and Mitch McGary), and a future second-round pick (Alex Abrines).

The Thunder are trying to move Walker but if they have to they are good playing him and letting him increase his value like Horford did. It would not surprise me to see him moved tomorrow though.

What about sending Walker to Philly and some of the shit ton of picks you have piled up over the next years. You guys have 11 (ELEVEN!) first round draft picks (not including your own) over the next 5 years that you have to play with. You have more 1st after that as well incoming.

Walker would immediately help the 76ers with their point guard play and some scoring. And they could use future draft capital. OKC can rebuild Simmons and give him a free run. Think it benefits both teams.

Didn’t Martin get flipped for a first?

so they got 4 firsts and a second.

that’s pretty good tbh

but yeah, not what they want

You can’t win anything with Kemba Walker. He’s a liability on defense and his skills have diminished. He needs to go back to a team like Charlotte where he can be the best player on a bad team. Can’t win with that dude.

I agree it would be worth a shot for the thunder

Honestly, Love would be a great fit on the Lakers if he could stay healthy. Play him at C and AD at PF and tell him to play close to the basket, score 15ppg or so and rebound the ball. He's played with James so that's a nice plus. Not sure what we would be able to trade to the Cavs....
Nothing.....but maybe he eventually gets bought out, I guess.

Here's the thing with all of these Simmons offers that keep leaking, are the other teams just simply hanging up and cutting off negotiations or are these just opening salvos?

Because if the latter then that's how most trades start off. Seeing a deal later on with, like, half that stuff might make more sense.
