No.

Because it is the process that we are talking about. Not the result.

And the way those teams achieved those records couldn’t have been more different.

Which again, is what we are talking about.
honestly I have no clue what the heck you are even going on about. What you are talking about has absolutely no relevance at all.

it really boggles my mind. I showed you the records per the 3 seasons were both sucked. While the Sixers traded away the (VERY FEW) assets that they had- the Cavs were just out of steam and assets after a period of extraordinary success--- not that it really matters either way.

I mean- what exactly is the point?

The Sixers also got lucky compared to their dim lotto odds, while the Cavs got somewhat unlucky. To me- if you want to talk differences- that is by far and away the biggest difference. The Cavs expected was like 2, 2.5, 4.5 and they got 5, 5, 3. The Sixers were something like 1, 3, 2.5 and they ended up with 1, 1, 3.

Shocker. My point is crystal clear to everyone except you and DT. You are just doing your normal shtick to avoid admitting the obvious that the didn’t get to where they are today by design in the way that Philly did.

One of those 1s for the 6ers was because they traded up to get it.

That doesn’t count as “getting lucky”

The Cavs sure know a thing or two about that though.

Ironically, the only thing that made Cleveland relevant was the lottery luck of having the number 1 pick in the same year that the best player of his generation entered the draft. It’s pretty funny to me that you’re bemoaning lottery luck when in the end that’s really the only thing that’s made Cleveland anything of note.

I think we can all agree that Philly is a 4th rate town filled with trash and bums.

Every mom in Philly is a hooker. LITERALLY.

he Cavs were just out of steam and assets after a period of extraordinary success---

Lol, extraordinary success?!?

Yeah, all they had to do was draft one of the best players of all time, then get the #1 pick three times in the space of four years and then all it took was the suspension of a key player in the NBA Finals and they finally got a single championship out of it.

You give any other team a near prime Lebron James, and three #1 picks and they do a hell of a lot better than just one title.

Hell, the Lakers got a past his prime Lebron and used two #2's to get the exact same result.

"Extraordinary success" Fuck sake Wiggy :L

This dude is entering the same league-concluded expelled landscape as Schroeder. I would not be surprised if both Schroeder and Simmons do not play in the NBA this year. Nobody appears to be interested.

People are most definitely interested in Simmons.

Just not enough to pay Morey’s superstar caliber price tag.

Interest may be one thing tlance, but to complete it with a signing is quite another. Simmons and Schroeder are def in the latter condition for sure.
