Scottie was never known to be a rocket scientist.
DP even tried to help him out by asking if he'd like to clarify what he said/meant.
He clarified alright. lol

The only thing the TWolves have that I would be interested in is Anthony Edwards. DeAngelo Russell is not a fit. Malik Beasley isn’t a fit. TWolves aren’t trading KAT (and also doesn’t fit with Embiid on the floor already). Here’s another recent one…

and why not? No accountability is needed to do their jobs these days. All that for a guy who is a questionable fit to begin with. I’m not seeing it at all. Media just manufactures bull shit in my opinion to stay relevant.
Or ever. It's just sports.and why not? No accountability is needed to do their jobs these days.
I don't blame them. If I knew whatever I wrote would get clicks - and please my employer -as long as it fit the agenda of my audience I'd probably do the same.Or ever. It's just sports.
Hey, make me a Cavs proposal for a Simmons deal. Or if you think Cavs have no interest (or you personally) it’s all good. I’m interested if Sexton is involved. How much pick and roll has he been asked to play?I don't blame them. I'd at least be intrigued if the Cavs were looking into acquiring Simmons. His last week of play this year was pretty bad, but the guy is a 3X all star and all defense and don't recall any of those awards being critiqued at the time he earned them.Hey, make me a Cavs proposal for a Simmons deal. It's definitely interesting for both sides and not a crazy idea. I think the market for Simmons might be better than some believe and Cavs might have to throw in a protected 1st to make that happen if it were to go down.I actually think this might be the best match.
Sexton + Love for Simmons
6ers would have to figure out how to use Love. Would be bad to play Love, Harris, Sexton and Curry together.
But maybe a 25- 30 minute bench role staggering minutes at 4 and 5 in a small lineup could great for him.

Why is Dame upset though? Who was his guy?Sparks to start the fire
HE GONE
Background for folks that don't follow too deeply in the NBA Cinematic Universe, Chris Haynes is pretty tight with Dame Lillard. So he's not putting this out there unless Dame wants it out there
The one and only reason I can think of is if Beal finally wants out and they've decided to blow it up. If that were the case, I'd think the Lakers would be more interested in Beal than Westbrook.
Westbrook is set to make $44 million this coming season and $47 million in '22--'23. They'd basically have to send everyone not named AD or Lebron and they'd also need a couple of S&T's in all of that.
Pippen is really being an idiot in the last few days, he has probably pissed away all his money or something.Wow!! I'm watching Dan Patrick and he is interviewing Scottie Pippen. DP asks him about a GQ article in which he said that Phil Jackson setting up that famous play where Pippen refused to go in was racial.
He doubled down and said Phil is/was a racist.
Pippen's been taking L's this week. First it was coming at KD where KD had the perfect comeback. Now calling Phil a racist for something that happened over 25 years ago because he drew up a play for the better shooter. Pippen needs to lay off the drugs.Wow!! seemed like Garland was more the pick and role guy but Sexton has done it and could do it IMO. I'm not looking to dump him like many Cavs' fans and would not include sexton AND the #3 for Simmons under any circumstance (assuming there is a guy they love they can get at 3).
Ideally, you'd need someone with size who can play D to pair with Sexton...ironically, IMO, Sexton might be a good fit WITH Simmons.
Obviously it depends what the Cavs' FO thinks of Simmons but if they thought he'd be a good fit with current roster plus the #3 I wonder if they'd start with an offer of Sexton, a future #1 (maybe two of them...protected), Prince and something else to match salary?
If Love comes back, I’m not sure I’m interested. Maybe a 3rd team needs to be involved that would desire the Love contract (he’s in his last year right?). I would scrap Sexton for Garland the 3 pick and a mix and match of salary to make it work.I actually think this might be the best match.

Love has 2 years left. I doubt you'd get the 3 without Garland for Simmons so cannot imagine they'd include Garland. My guess is the #3 is off the table for the Cavs.If Love comes back, I’m not sure I’m interested. I really haven’t seen a proposed trade that I look at and say let’s pull the trigger. The one that I would like would entail Brandon Ingram. I think he fits really well with the Sixers group. I just don’t think Love fits with the Sixers. The only way I would entertain that would be for a Tobias Harris trade and I’m not sure why the Cavs would want him. It would be a swap of 30+ mil guys that are overpaid. You can’t play a front court of Harris Love Embiid in my mind. That would be the Horford experiment part two. The more time goes on (I can’t believe I’m saying this) I think the best course of action is to work his balls off this summer re-inventing his shot and putting him with a sports psychologist and then re-evaluating at the deadline. I don’t want them to sell low on this one. They sold low on Fultz and now he’s looking like a quality starter when healthy.Love has 2 years left. totally agree on the notion of not selling low if I'm the 76ers.I really haven’t seen a proposed trade that I look at and say let’s pull the trigger.
