He’s probably going to be named their next HC tomorrow. Really wanted to see what he could actually accomplish at his alma mater. The whole Wiseman debacle, plus COVID derailed what was a fast start out the gate for him at Memphis.

Sparks to start the fire

HE GONE

Background for folks that don't follow too deeply in the NBA Cinematic Universe, Chris Haynes is pretty tight with Dame Lillard. So he's not putting this out there unless Dame wants it out there

Was just coming here to post that. League sources may very well be Dame himself lol

I don't even know how you make the salaries work or why Washington would do it

The one and only reason I can think of is if Beal finally wants out and they've decided to blow it up. If that were the case, I'd think the Lakers would be more interested in Beal than Westbrook.

Westbrook is set to make $44 million this coming season and $47 million in '22--'23. They'd basically have to send everyone not named AD or Lebron and they'd also need a couple of S&T's in all of that.

All that for a guy who is a questionable fit to begin with. I’m not seeing it at all. Media just manufactures bull shit in my opinion to stay relevant.

Yep, but that's part of the fun of the off-season. Seeing all of the "blockbuster trades" and FA signings folks come up with. Especially the ones that are because someone followed someone else on twitter (or stopped following them).

Now that it's been reported that Kawhi is supposedly unhappy with the Clippers medical staff...the Kawhi wants out rumors should be starting up any day now too. lol

Since the Sixers shit the bed, it’s been nonstop hot takes around here with proposed Simmons deals. It’s a fun follow to be honest. I have no idea what the kid’s real value is in the eyes of GMs. My guess is that there is a great disparity in the way he’s viewed. I keep telling myself it just takes one or two squads to over value him to get something done.

Beal is significantly more expensive than Westbrook in terms of trade value.

The Lakers don’t have the assets.

I don't think they the assets for either. But if they did, Beal would be the better fit.

Wow!! I'm watching Dan Patrick and he is interviewing Scottie Pippen. DP asks him about a GQ article in which he said that Phil Jackson setting up that famous play where Pippen refused to go in was racial.

He doubled down and said Phil is/was a racist.

Scottie was never known to be a rocket scientist.
