Worst player making the most by far

Heat have 2 years in this window until Lowry gets ancient and Butler gets old and way overpaid. Butler has a lot of miles on him too.

ill be interested to see if Bam's Olympic experience can help him take the next step. Herro is going to be key for them.

the Bucks and Nets are awfully good.

The Bucks have 3 wings in Holiday, Middleton and Giannis that are just monsters that are clutch and play defense and they have put some shooters around thsoe guys too.

if the Sixers get Dame somehow, the Heat are clearly, at best, 4th best in the East- a pretty big tier below the other 3 teams.

I actually don’t disagree that much with this take.

they’re old abs gonna be spending like half the salary cap on mid to late 30s butler and. Lowry in year 3.

they can’t deal a first until like 2028.

they are all in the next two years

I don’t know if tucker is the guy I would’ve used my mle on. But I get it

They'll be able to attract FA's on the vet minimum like they did this past offseason. And Bam and Robinson will be smack dab in their prime, as will Herro. Butler and Lowry will transition to vets that know their role.

Riles hasn't/won't lost his fastball.

I still rather be in the Heat position post Lebron compared to Cleveland and not that close. One franchise is able to acquire top players via free agency/s&t while the other is basically hoping they can eventually hit on a lottery pick and find their next superstar. And as we see with the Kings & Magic, that is a very hard thing to do

Yeah definitely Tucker fits the mold but he is getting up there. Curious what the other options were at the MLE

Well Bam is the only AS/star potential player. Robinson is a role player and so is Herro at this point after that dropoff last season. A lot of the future could depend on Herro. And when I mean future I mean down the road

He's 36 but his skillset isn't likely to diminish.

He hustles, plays defense, rebounds and shoots the trey.

None. He was probably 3rd or 4th on that list. Portis and Batum were ahead of him. Heat really wanted those guys. I would have love Batum on this team

Both chose to stay with their teams

Tyler Herro played well in the bubble, not impossible he rebounds from this past season. Let's not act like he's some project.
