Wamu
whats-a-matta-u?
Schroder to the Celtics @Wamu ?
He wouldn't be my first, second or third choice. Don't know what the Celtics current cap situation is. But if possible I'd rather they go after someone better than him.

Warriors receive: Simmons and Justin Holiday
Sixers receive: Malcolm Brogdon, Jonathan Kuminga, TJ Warren, a 2026 first-round pick, and a 2028 first-round pick
Pacers receive: James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins, and Moses Moody
Saw this one, honestly, put all your assets into Simmons is not very smart. If we are talking about Beal, Lillard or another star then ok.

Sure, but he just came off two shortened seasons without deep playoff runs.
In small-ball lineups, you could make it work. The NBA is going down this path. It's not ideal, but Green could be put in at the 4 in some rare situations.Body types not very similar though, lol. Nobody has ever accused Green of being a bruiser...

Having said that, he re-signed with the Sixers, so he's not a concern for the Lakers anymore.
If he was really on the market likely a number of deals turned down.
Curious why you don't like Garland.
I get the Lakers probably threw their net out at a lot of vets but Jesus christ man. It's absolutely grating. You can't have ALL the free agents
Highly unlikely smart is in the deal.Guess they could do Smart plus an exception for Schroder at 20
Not sure if that would mean LA gets him or works a 3 team in.
If I'm LA I go for picks. But Smart is nice
We should just bring back Cousins and use him as the backup PF, maybe a little at C when we want to stretch the floor. He played well for the Clippers.

The one bitter pill was letting Caruso go. His defense and effort will be missed with the second team.Considering what they had to work with, pretty good. There's a couple of other players I would have preferred that went elsewhere (like Mills or Gay), but you can't complain too much. It's hard to fill out a roster with just vet min available. Still think they need a defensive minded guard or wing.
