That didn't really workout but in their defense it didn't hurt the team...they were entering a rebuild and technically still in a rebuild. Even this year...who would they attract in FA? Next year they can buy him out and still no guarantee they can attract FA's bc it's CLE. They will have to draft (like they have been doing) and/or make a trade to acquire a player. That being said, I think we can all look back at this point and the Love signing was a bit premature but it also didn't hurt them imo
His negative attitude of late can't have helped the team. Money could've been spent elsewhere.

With the glut of guards already on the Lakers, not sure where Green would fit in, and who starts? Would welcome him for sure, but some of these signings are going to be upset about minutes...
It doesn't make a whole lot of sense BUT who is to say Ellington and Ariza are dependable. Injuries happen with old guys but not getting the minutes from the start could be an issue regardless.
Who is to say he would get more valuable minutes with Boston or CLE though? The Cavs have Sexton and Okoro also not guarantee they are a playoff team. Boston or N.O. might be more suitable.

We're talking about wear and tear. The Big 3 in Miami were all in their prime. Westbrook's an "old" 32, Lebron's going to be 37 before the playoffs start, and AD is often injured.

I think it ultimately works in LA, we'll see if it results in a title. But the original point was more on how Westbrook may start hitting his decline given his style of play and miles he has.
We'll see....RW is just 32 and keeps himself in great shape.....I'm not worried. Acting like he's LeBron's age.

It doesn't matter, like I said it isn't putting them in a better position....maybe even a worse position in lala land in the draft lottery. They weren't making the playoffs with him or another piece for all those years EXCEPT maybe last year if all things go right.

I like the Kelly signing for the Pistons. He balled out with the Rockets......he can score, rebound, and pass.....
Not a bad signing with how young they are in the middle (everywhere, really), but he is one of my least favorite players for some reason.

Not so sure he has a better shot at playoffs on NO as here. Boston, sure.....that said hard to believe he'd sign here unless by far best offer.

Was just about to say...I know they're older but Jesus we are getting to the point that a 10 year vet may not be on the active roster

The Cavs at the beginning of FA were looking for a wing that can shoot. I heard McDermott was their #1 option, Green fits the mold and he could be a good mentor for Okoro and the young guys. It doesn't make the most sense but it does from a need standpoint imo. I think he would get a ton of open looks
