Mills would be nice....but with LeBron or RW always in the game......Hill wouldn't be a bad insurance policy.....if Mills goes to GS there is nothing at PG. George Hill is now available though
Sure, but Reaves is on the roster. McClung still has to earn his way there. It all starts tonight! (Summer League California Classic, 8pm PST, ESPN2)
You are thinking as the best player on the team it would be easier to be more efficient than if there were 2-4 guys taking the pressure off him (like Lou has often had)?
Same mindset where they want to lose to collect draft picks.....rather than try and sign players to win.Sure, but that also gives Lou fewer looks as those other players need the ball too. Who are these d-leaguers btw? It's funny to see you denigrate your own team's roster to try to win an argument in favor of one of your players, especially when you've been in favor of trading him in the right deal.
i do not know one guy in the NBA that would rather have the defense keying in on him- then have an all star player on the side that draws a large amount of defensive attention. You are thinking as the best player on the team it would be easier to be more efficient than if there were 2-4 guys taking the pressure off him (like Lou has often had)?
Still gotta compete with GS2 year tax-payer MLE. Hopefully that means the Lakers are offering that to Mills instead?
Sweet. I was wondering when the summer league started. Thanks for posting that.
Still gotta compete with GS
What's hilarious is you cannot grasp that being on bad teams makes it harder for him to be efficient. Even on good teams surrounded by MVP or HOFers Lou was almost always an inefficient shooter. Sexton has occasionally been surrounded by G leaguers and still made shots.
Just keep in mind that it's 5pm PST (8pm EST); my original post mixed that up.
So...lets see right now the Cavs young core is:He was good, but still has not touched Sexton's 24.4 ppg in his entire career. In addition, before some say it's because he shoots too much (Sexton), in his 18 seasons Lou has never topped Sexton's 47.5% shooting from his age 22 season and is a career 42% shooter, 35% from 3....despite often being, at best, his team's 3rd option.
