Just turned on the truck race on dirt.
Missed whatever was happening, but I was watching a crew guy being separated from a track official. Was thinking why would track officials be getting in the face of someone? Did something get said like calling an umpire a c*cksucker? LOL

I don't remember who the driver was. But he spun someone and had a piece of metal sticking out his front bumper. Under yellow NASCAR said he was ok. Then as soon as they went to the green flag NASCAR told him he was getting a black flag. The crew chief was the crew guy yelling. Then getting interviewed he said something about NASCAR being bullshit.

Interesting moment in an overall bad race.

Keselowski will probably take-over as the owner of Jack Roush's operation as soon as Roush retires which won't be too long into the foreseeable future. Kes will just flat-out buy the operation out and Roush will be mostly done except for being a figure-head sort of what Richard Petty does over at RPM.

Doesn't the group that owns the Red Sox and Lebron James own parts of the Roush team though? How much can Keselowski buy?

Kidding but not kidding on these other questions. Does Penske release BK before the season ends? How many more times does BK hit Logano before Logano starts hitting him back?

Yep the Red Sox organization and LBJ do own part of the Roush operation but Keselowski can buy their options-out over time. He doesn't have to front all of the cash value up front as these business arrangements are usually governed by time-based contracts which eventually expire. When that occurs, the majority ownership and minor interests then enter negotiations for a re-up or selling of their involvement and that is when Kes will negotiate a buy-out of whomever and he will then become majority owner or at the very least be the majority owner until he buys everyone out to flat-out own the operation which will then become Brad Keselowski Racing Incorporated or something to that affect.

Erik Jones who is making progress at bringing a once-proud and dominate old school racing team back from the brink is re-upping with Richard Petty Motorsports. Smart move. He has had three top tens this year and that is a good sign that the team is really moving RPM toward another win that has not occurred since Aric Almirola won the July Daytona race in a rain shortened affair back in 2014.

Two Top 10 finishes at Talladega and Bristol for E. Jones and I see his race team at RPM taking the next step next season. Solid perfomances are becoming more frequent. Now the 43 team has eliminate DNF's and a couple of wins and RPM will have come all the back to prominence similar to what has occurred with the Wood Brothers 21 car.

It seems F-1 has caught the NASCAR bug or maybe its American Racing. With Romain Grosjean signing with Andretti Autosport to race in IndyCar for the 2022 season, we now have Max Verstappen coming to NASCAR next year to run road courses. Hmmm...

Harvicks revenge.
He took out Elliott today in the cup race. Possibly allowing Larson to keep in the chase.
Would have been awesome to see the most dominate driver in cup get kicked out early.
But oh well.

I watched that Schmoopy and Elliott will get his revenge. He wanted to in this race but his car was too banged-up but make no mistake, the Bristol genesis of this feud has not been resolved.

Another Top 15 finish in Texas for Erik Jones and RPM as he and the team continue to build for 2022. Great driving getting through all of the wrecks at Texas. The 43 car moves up to 24th in the points. Looking good!!

After a string of say 6-7 races that Erik Jones and RPM put together, the same bunch laid a turd in Kansas finishing 29th, 7 laps down.

Are you an Erik Jones fan or a RPM fan?
Before you say both.
2nd Question.
Which were you 1st. (if you answer both)

Both. I was a RPM fan dating back to the late 50's when I first watched Richard Petty race in a race league in the south when not many knew nor watched something called NASCAR. Over the years I have watched a once-proud, winning, dominant racing organization disintegrate into a item of trash and disdain. Since the last driver to bring some respectability back to RPM, that being Aric Almirola with a win in 2014 in Daytona, I have watched Erik Jones, the crew, and some really decent sponsorship bring respectability back to The King's racing organization that had reached all-time lows in many categories. The kid is a good talent released from Joe Gibbs Racing, the latter who seems to find gold in everything he touches. Jones is really young but talented and that bunch has already put together some really solid runs this year that show promise for the future for an organization that had all but died.

Erik Jones and RPM get back on track at Martinsville with a top ten finish with 8th overall. Great run and an excellent finish for the RPM team.
