Still one of the baddest Mopars on the planet and the entire documentary sheds further corroborating evidence that NASCAR really was and is afraid of the entrepreneurial spirit that generated the true attraction of the series for so many fans that have long since left the sport. What remains is this vanilla, corporate-controlled bullshit racing series that no one can watch for very long without getting bored and doing something else on Week-ends.

The 1970 Superbird is still my all-time favorite muscle car. I loved the looks of all those Mopar products from that time period.

ME too, Used 2 B!!
My first car was a Dodge Dart 318. A very poor man's muscle car. Didn't have the looks of a Charger or Coronet or Barracuda but it still had the performance. That little baby rocked

That's called a ratty Mopar. My first Mopar was a 1964 Plymouth Belevdere Wagon with the same 318 c.i. Snappy and powerful. I ran that car all over creation until it died in Denver. I then owned a '69 Dodge Charger with a 440 c.i. I wish I still had that car!

Well, since NASCAR went corporate and now WOKE, they have become as bad as the lunatics running F-1. Really cool yesteryear celebrations like the Petty 75 Years Anniversary Celebration tour brings more passion and interest back to the sport than ANY idea the dolts running the NASCAR Dog and Pony show could remotely derive in their collective pea brains.

@Retroram52 Martinsville is the only track that has been on the schedule every year since 1949. Darlington is an older track, but didn't get on the schedule until 1950. One of those early Southern 500s at Darlington had 78 cars compete after two drivers withdrew before the start.

Yea, Obxy. I was hoping that the Pettys and Jimmy Johnson would jump-in and buy a Charter but they have not done anything except concentrate on racing and continue the 75th Anniversary Tour.

Legacy Racing had a really good day yesterday in New Hampshire. Both John Hunter Nemechek and Eric Jones started the race below the 25th position and Nemechek finished 8th and Jones finished 13th. Almost two top tens. Progress!!

Tony Stewart has been in a angry battle with NASCAR for some time. Gene Haas is coming back to NASCAR as Haas Factory Team keep one of the four Charters Stewart-Haas owned. The real guy who wanted and wants as far away as possible from NASCAR is obviously Tony Stewart who has gone full-in with Drag Racing and NHRA.

Sort of a boring race yesterday in Nashville until the rain-stoppage. My guys at Legacy Racing had a rough race. I was riding along with Eric Jones in the 43 car with the in-car-camera hook-up you can access on race day when he blew a right front tire and hit the wall. This was right after he had stopped for fresh Goodyears and bam, boom! Jones had worked his way up to 27th from 37th when that happened. He spent the last 20 or so laps in the pits after the rain-delay. The car became undriveable.

NASCAR with the channel change in the middle of the race, so I missed from the second segment end until the end of the first OT. End of that race was a mess.
