I can’t see them signing Wright unless there is an injury, I think he wants too much money
again it all goes back to his price tag , he should have signed somewhere already . and you are declaring davis a bust already ?
so how much do you want to pay a 32 yr old lb who has been sitting on his ass for half a year ? 17 mil ? 10 mil ? 12 mil ? because there is a huge reason why this guy is unsigned .Skinz2win pretty much summed up my feelings. We know Holcomb is on his way to solid, perhaps above average play, but besides a few highlights and 4.48 40 time, will Davis live up to lofty expectations? You know who could help him at LB???? KJ superbowl champion Wright. That LB room is weak, we can't pretend like one injury to a starter won't be devastating, unless Landon is about play LB while still listed as S
We also know our defense will have to carry us. 1 injury to that group of LB's and we are toast. Last year was evidence enough that we needed (2) new starters in that group. We came away with 1. The remaining LB's on the roster are good backups, that's it.so how much do you want to pay a 32 yr old lb who has been sitting on his ass for half a year ? 17 mil ? 10 mil ? 12 mil ? because there is a huge reason why this guy is unsigned .
if its me i am going to ride with my number one pick and his potential DROY status . i will see who gets cut and see if they are the stop gap that can help us , and i will save that money we have and roll it over for next year as i have some key guys i have to sign
I said we needed to come out of free agency or the draft with no less then 2 Linebackers and we only came out with 1 Jamin DavisWe also know our defense will have to carry us. 1 injury to that group of LB's and we are toast. he could be asking too much but we only need him for 1 seasonand not one of you have addressed the issue , the cost , wright is asking too much hence he isnt signed
we were a top 5 defense with less then we currently have at LB last year . i dont think losing tmac is worth it , do you ? or payne ?he could be asking too much but we only need him for 1 season
um we wouldn't lose anywe were a top 5 defense with less then we currently have at LB last year . i dont think losing tmac is worth it , do you ? or payne ?

how much are you willing to pay him ?Yeah, I'm only signing him to 1 year.
He should only want 1 too, since he'd make more next season with the cap jump.
Skins, last year we were a top 5 BUT our division will be much more healthy this year, we have to prepare IMO.
we have been talking about all off season on how we cant sign our guys . we have 16 mil in roll over cap which would help us resign 2 key guys and you want to spend how much on wright ? there is a reason why this guy isnt signed and price tag is most likely it so how much do you want to spend ? we have 14 -16 mil in cap space , give me a numberum we wouldn't lose any
8 mil ? Hmm half our rollover ? I ‘d give 3 tops8 mil, he's gonna have to crack or be out of work. He didn't seem like the type to be able to take a year off
Correct me if I am wrong but weren’t you one of the people that said I was wrong about signing our key guys ( mainly D-line ) and you want to take 8 mil out of our TMAC fund for a 32 yr old stop gap? You can’t sign toys if you want to keep the Corp guys and the roll over is a huge have . You literally have 3/4 ‘s of either Payne’s or Tmac’s contract right there for a stop gap toy who is gone next year .8 mil, he's gonna have to crack or be out of work.
