this downfall of a team is soooooo black n white.... we started the season winning but importantly playing with purpose and confidently..... then bam... wtf happened.....

sorry excuses from execution, mindset, commitment from the the players....

Today's news. Akira Schmid sent down to Utica and Nico Daws called up.

I'd blame this stretch on our goaltending but we've drafted a goaltender every year since Shero first came on. You mean to tell me none of those guys have panned out?

Crazy though. Daws & Schmid were 4 and 5 on our depth chart at the beginning of the season. Gillies was 4th, maybe 5th on St Louis and that's what we got now!

What will ownership do? I think Ruff's tenure has to be on the hot seat right now.... but will that happen after the season?

a whole cleanup of the staff is in order IMO.

as for the players, if we sell, we sell...... its not working. We need some bigger boys in there without losing the speed.

I think Fitz has to go as well but I agree I don't think anything happens in season.

In regards to selling, we'll sell but I don't think we have assets worth much.

All our UFA's Subban, Jaros and yes even Geerston...all in a bundle for McDavid!

So after commenting on Nasty's post with me preferring the higher chance to land top pick... i saw an article on pucks n pitchforks of the devils trading their first for x y z returns.

Right now Pick looks to be in the top 6 with real chance at top 3..... so is the pick we trade for all-star level player? if so, who? or keep because there's a can't miss prospect right there?
