Preseason has started so might as well fire this up.

The young guns looked good in first preseason game for whatever that's worth.

Mackenzie Blackwood is the lone unvaccinated player so looks like Bernier will be starting on our Canadian road trips.

Bernier did not look great. Hopefully Mac gets on board. Supposedly he is still "figuring it out"

I'm trying not to get my hopes up with him but it's tough. He's the exact type of complimentary piece we need, he'll be able to slot in anywhere. Reminds me of a Parise type.

Wow Holtz to Utica.... Can't be overly mad I guess....

But I am excited to see him in action for us.

Mercer will be a breath of fresh air to watch while making the games competitive.

Put it in the books. A lot of good out of that first game. Hughes is a stud, Dougie on the board, Mercer got an assist, Bernier played pretty well, Sieghalter looked pretty decent. Good stuff.
