Don't have to be afraid of Lebron to get your ass kicked. I saw what Lebron did 2x since the AS break and that was without Davis. With AD, he can light Minny up for a calm 33/8/6 and that would be more than enough to send them packing.

7 years in league and yet to win a playoffs game. He needs to stop talking fast.

The guy is going to be halfway or so into his career and yet to win a playoffs series and possibly not even a playoffs game because they are not beating Memphis or Golden State 4 of 7
I'm not pro Kat.

Couldn't care less about the Wolves.

They are in my teams way.

But, this isn't prime Lebron.

Can he carry a team a game or two?

Absolutely.

Can he carry them a full Season or even in a 1st round series?

No.

If they make the playoffs, which isn't a given, outside of a gimp Warriors squad, who do they have more than a punchers chance against?

Yep. If we know anything about the league, we know guys are petty and it seems that the bigger the star, the more petty they are.

Nothing wrong with a little trash talk, but a young guy taking it too far against older, bigger stars...he may have some harsh lessons coming his way.
From who?

Goons in the NBA are few and far between.

That's why you need a ignorant, hostile fucker like Boogie on your roster.

No way would he have allowed that Kat shit to go unaddressed.

I hate y'all and even I was appalled.

Pat Bev has history with Westbrook and is a scooch insane.

KAT was just piling on.

Malik, Johnson have proven they belong and Reeves has been a great find.

With the level Lebron has played at, I think him, a healthy AD, Melo playing well, plus the 3 you mentioned here has them far ahead of where they are now. I also think it ''mutes'' Westbrook a good bit. With that, guys like Ellington, Bazemore, etc. aren't seeing near as much playing time and THT doesn't have as much pressure on him.

They've just had so many guys in and out of the lineup, guys have been playing roles they weren't expected to play going in.

I don't think they'd win a title with this group, but they'd be in a much better position than they are right now. We'd all likely be talking about if they really needed to get into the top 4 or start load managing Lebron and reminding each other what happened the last time they had Lebron and AD healthy for the whole playoffs.

Sure.

Still, at his age LeBron can't guard him.

I'm not a KAT fan.

He's done zip.

Within 2 seasons, he won't even be seen as their franchise player, Edwards will.

If AD was there as he will be for the play-in game then Lebron would not have to guard him

Nope which is fine. I'm more focused on a possible lakers/wolves match up for the 8th seed. We need the clips to handle business and beat minny so we can see this happen

When I say harsh lessons, I mean he's going to get some big numbers dropped on him and get reminded that he has accomplished exactly nothing in the league.

I could see a Lakers/Wolves game where Lebron uses a healthy AD to beat KAT over the head with and then going at him a few times himself to finish him off. lol

I feel you.

But, if the Lakers don't get it together next Season, I'm going to start thinking the bubble chip was the exception, not the rule.

Outside of that year, LeBron has not had a stellar tenure in Lakerland.

Injuries played a part. But, injuries will always be a factor when you employ Anthony Davis.

Just like Cp3.

It's the price of doing business.

Lakers screwed up by not getting an offensive minded center. With AD injury history, Howard and Jordan should have never been the other 2 centers. I would have brought back Cousins

Oh, absolutely.

Embiid and the Joker will torch him regularly.

As for Davis?

A healthy, engaged Davis would give him the business.

Who stops Edwards?

That's where the Timperpups have a decided advantage.

On the perimeter.

Why do the basketball gods still hate them?

I don't get it. I understood the basketball gods hating them when Sterling owned the team. Even without the racism, he was just a shit owner who was only interested in being able to say he owned a team.

They get rid of him, bring in Ballmer and land arguably the biggest stars they've had since Bill Walton...

and neither of them can stay healthy.

Spot on.

Again, all this could just be rumor...

But, if they could have traded for Wood and Wall, I would have pulled the trigger.

I try to tell myself that when we finally reach the mountain top, our just desserts will be even sweeter.

But, that's just a bunch of bullshit.

There are clearly cosmic forces at work...lol

I think getting Dwight was fine. He can still defend the paint, rebound and get you some put backs. But Boogie would have been a much better signing than DJ.

Well, he has regressed even more from last year.

Can he still post stats on a bad team?

Yes. But who really needs that from a 34 year old max player?
This is why teams should be very hesitant to give players these max deals.

Only a handful of NBA players deserve it

Yeah i didn't care which one they chose but one of them shouldn't have been brought in. Dwight is better by far though

Why is starting Bron at 5 better?

That shit has to be extra taxing with his increased offensive load.

Plus, it's not like having the 3 guards out there to start games is helping with the slow starts.

Obviously, Patrick Beverly (because of his history w/ Russ) was influencing KAT for all the wrong reasons.
KAT shouldn't be emulating Beverly's antics....or enabling him.
Dude either needs to find a better role model, or HE just needs to become his team's leader by example.
It was total bush league antics by both of them.
That said..I'm sure the Lakers will be using that as bulletin board motivation.

It's better against smaller lineups. Dwight is still very athletic, but he can't keep up with the younger more athletic bigs anymore. Especially if the big is a stretch 4 or 5 because he's not as quick getting back and forth from the 3 to the paint. He can do it against guys like Joker because they're slow.

But, as you say, the downside is that it just adds that much more to Lebrons workload.

Bro, nobody is afraid of LeBron anymore.

Might be premature. But, they aren't.

Dude's like Luka are actually hunting him in switches and he can't guard a true center, not even one like KAT.

With that being said, the most egregious act was KAT calling LeBron a BAN * BITCH ASS N *

That's fucking flagrant.
It wouldn’t be so bad if KAT like you know actually accomplished something in the sport.
