They didn't get rid of Dwight, he panicked when he wasn't a 1st hour priority and signed with the Sixers, so Gasol was brought in. I was fully on board with Schroder for Green, but Schroder ended up being locker room poison. Trezl seemed like a great addition, but again was more about his own minutes than fitting into the team. Rondo left for money (2 years $16.5M with Atlanta), not the Lakers dumping him.

But that isn’t running it back…

Is it?

They lost 3 guys who played pretty major roles in the championship run. All were in the top 7 of the Laker rotation during the playoffs.

I would be mad too.

A man built like a pit Bull dove through Steph’s legs to get at the ball.

Is it hustle?

Yes.

But totally reckless and how players get injured.

If we are being honest, not really much different from the Grayson Allen play that injured Caruso.

Sometimes the right play is to let it go.

Diving for loose balls is a part of basketball. I saw nothing wrong with the play. Curry should have got down as well

It's not on the team if 2 of those players leave of their own volition.

Offensively.

He can’t move to defend.

A big scorer who can’t defend does not make the Lakers better.

In fact, it is debatable whether he makes Denver better. He is highly inefficient and his BPM and VORP are negative and his WS are skewed by rebounding to be barely positive.

Cousins is definitely washed. He can produce points and rebounds in a 15 minute per game sample, but that doesn’t mean he is an asset on the court.

They've been playing Melo at center. He'd be better than Melo at center. Even if he can't move much, his size is enough of a deterrent for people to at least think twice about going down the lane for a layup line like they are now. And he can rebound. And since he can shoot a little bit, maybe Vogel would be inclined to play him a bit more than Howard. He'd definitely improve them. They'd go from laughingly embarrassing to kinda embarrassing, but its still an improvement.

But the FO is stupid and loaded the roster up on small wings right from the start so this is the bed they made. Even if they had interest in Boogie midseason, I'm not sure Boogie had interest in them considering the shitshow they got going on

So is trying to block a shot.

You can’t dive through a player’s knees.

Someone does that to me and I would want to fight.

"I can't call that a dirty play," Green said. "The ball is on the floor. At every level of basketball, we're taught to dive on the floor and go after the ball, and that's what Marcus did, so I can't call it a dirty play."

You are wrong here man.

Diving on a lose ball is a good play for Marcus Smart.

For Steph Curry though?

I don’t want my $50 million PG diving for a lose ball right at his feet during a regular season game.

No chance.

And yes, diving on, or through another player to get the loose ball is a foul and should have been called

I'm going to side with Draymond on this

Debatable.

I won’t call it dirty. Still a foul. And a reckless play.

Crazy to me that you don’t think that is dirty, but a clumsy oaf getting his foot under a jump shooter is?

You can't claim hustle then say it was as bad as what Allen did to Caruso. Smart was going for the ball. Allen wasn't.

I said that? I don't even think that should be called a flagrant anymore

Stop it.

He missed the ball by a couple inches. He was trying to block it.

He was out of position and followed through. Reckless play made worse by a bad landing.

Both players going for the ball and out of position to make the play they were trying to make.

That fan is pretty lame.

Kissing Russ’ ass when Russ gets mad and comes back at him.

Then calls him a “goof” once a safe distance away again.

Say it to his face or don’t say it.

He was going for the ball, that's a legit play. It wasn't reckless.

Yet you think your opinion holds more weight that what Draymond said. Nothing else needs to be said.

You gonna incorrectly tell me I get all my opinions from social media again? I watched that game.

What you're suggesting is Smart shouldn't have even tried to gain possession of the ball.

Could be wrong, but I thought you were one of the ones blasting Zaza after the Kawhi foul.

I was but if i recall, I think he moved forward 2x which to me is dirty. The crap they're calling now which is a natural contest on a shot is garbage. Should be a foul and that's it
