This is what Kerr was mad at? Lol

I would be mad too.

A man built like a pit Bull dove through Steph’s legs to get at the ball.

Is it hustle?

Yes.

But totally reckless and how players get injured.

If we are being honest, not really much different from the Grayson Allen play that injured Caruso.

Sometimes the right play is to let it go.

I feel you.

But, if the Lakers don't get it together next Season, I'm going to start thinking the bubble chip was the exception, not the rule.

Outside of that year, LeBron has not had a stellar tenure in Lakerland.

Injuries played a part. But, injuries will always be a factor when you employ Anthony Davis.

Just like Cp3.

It's the price of doing business.

It was the exception I guess,

But every year the supporting cast got worse, and AD played fewer games and played less effectively.

They were legit the bubble year.

Should have just run it back with what they had + maybe some minor tweaks.

Nope.

@tlance said he's washed.

LOL. You and your petty shots at people.

He can play offense because he is skilled.

Total zero defensively. He fits better in a place like Denver who already has a defense built around a less mobile center.

I don’t know why you think Cousins getting a few buckets a game would fix the Laker issues. It wouldn’t.

And honestly, you are pretty clueless about personnel, skill sets and fit, so you should really think twice before starting shit like this.

I never said it would fix their issues at all.

But, he has played well with Milwaukee and Denver.

Offensively.

He can’t move to defend.

A big scorer who can’t defend does not make the Lakers better.

In fact, it is debatable whether he makes Denver better. He is highly inefficient and his BPM and VORP are negative and his WS are skewed by rebounding to be barely positive.

Cousins is definitely washed. He can produce points and rebounds in a 15 minute per game sample, but that doesn’t mean he is an asset on the court.

Cousins fits Denver’s scheme already. A skilled 5 who doesn’t move well laterally.

That is not how the Lakers are built.

I think getting Dwight was fine. He can still defend the paint, rebound and get you some put backs. But Boogie would have been a much better signing than DJ.

The DJ signing was pointless. They would've been better served to get the backup the Clips ended up with, Hartenstein.

Dwight has a lot of the same issues the other Lakers vets have; they aren't engaged all the time. Effort slacks too often.

...or the play that injured Lebron in a previous season with the Lakers.

They did last year. More injuries, more problems. So Lebron pushed for the 3rd star route. No depth, old role players and an injury prone big, what could go wrong lol?

They didn’t run it back though.

They brought in Trezl, Schroeder, Gasol, etc and got rid of Danny Green, Rondo and Dwight.

I get that on paper those players are upgrades, but it didn’t work out like that.

They didn't get rid of Dwight, he panicked when he wasn't a 1st hour priority and signed with the Sixers, so Gasol was brought in. I was fully on board with Schroder for Green, but Schroder ended up being locker room poison. Trezl seemed like a great addition, but again was more about his own minutes than fitting into the team. Rondo left for money (2 years $16.5M with Atlanta), not the Lakers dumping him.
