Cavs are playing Markannen on Joel Embiid. That is flat out disrespectful and if Doc doesn’t run action for Embiid on every trip to close this game out he’s a dope.

No Allen there isn't much choice if Mobley out (and not like he can stop him). He'll either score or have a foul called regardless.

Happen to agree about future. Need to get Allen back to make any noise this year and with no sexton even if in don't see winning more than a couple games. Next year? If we just came back at full strength and Rubio returned or someone like him it could be an exciting season....if we just stay relatively healthy.

Part of me thought the LeVert miss was his plan. It looked like they had a scramble play on with Mobley playing a front rim miss. Not sure the Sixer who neutralized his touch but Maxey cleaned up the loose ball. Did you see it that way or was it a legit miss?

Legit miss IMO. Missing on purpose there doesn't make sense to me. 8 seconds left and you hit that it is a 1 point game.

Philly can very easily miss 1 of 2 meaning it could have been a 2 point game with 7 seconds left.

Or worst case scenario it’s down 3 with the last shot opportunity. The only benefit to the Miss in that spot is maybe the element of surprise if film study revealed some laziness in boxing out.

There is a high possibility they are better than the wolves next season while your biggest accomplishment will be once again losing in the first round. Beat the Clippers in that play in game. Yeah probably not ideal for KAT to be just piling on. On the other hand I think this is starting to be the first time we see some edge to KAT's approach to the game. You have to draw the fire from somewhere.

Westbrook though is just catching strays for all the years of him taunting and trash talking. It's going to happen and he's low hanging fruit to do it on because his own team doesn't even have his back. They're sick of him too.

I think he tried to make it...also thought Maxey walked but never saw a replay to see if he called TO first.

also no TOs for Cavs not not a crazy idea to miss as cavs would need to go length of floor in 5-6 seconds. But I think he tried to make it.

Crazy thing is kicking someone while they're down can be fun but you better make sure they down for good and in this case I don't think that is true. Russ isn't done (lakers just a shitty fit for him) and the lakers damn sure isn't done. I expect better from russ and the lakers next year

My biggest question mostly is how exactly does Russ get better? He's had 14 seasons already to try to improve the holes in his game. His athleticism is going down a bit (still pretty damn good though). I'm not sure how he gets better to fit in with this squad. The Lakers themselves might be able to retool with some better fits, but that's going to be difficult also.

Yikes...with only about a dozen games to go, and with Steph out until "maybe the playoffs"....I could see the Dubs sliding down into the 4 or 5 spot now....with Dallas & Utah becoming the 3 & 4.
Right now they're closer to the 2, than 4 or 5....but that's about to change imho...

His athleticism is going down a bit (still pretty damn good though). I'm not sure how he gets better to fit in with this squad. He was fine last year with the wizards. He isn't going to add much if anything to his game but he needs to be on a club where the ball in his hand most of the time due to his inability to shoot. Assuming he goes to a team that can provide that, I think we see closer to that version of russ

Oh so you were under the assumption Russ would be on a different team then. I didn't catch that part. Yeah, he can still be explosive in the right circumstance but it'll never be on a team where the ball is in the hands of a player as much as Lebron and AD. Russ needs to be a semi first option for optimal play instead of clear cut 3rd.

The dude just needs to go to a decent team where he can come off the bench and contribute.
But that contract of his needs to be reworked 1st & foremost.
He shouldn't be a starter anymore at this point.

Okay my bad, thought you were giving him a pass. But Westbrick has been a disaster for your Lakers. Didn't expect this at all. Thought things were going to go a lot more smoother than they have this season.

Yeah and it's not 100% Westbrook. 29 games in when the Lakers had been relatively healthy and had all 3 available they were 16-13 while still trying to figure out how to play together. In that, they had wins over the Grizz, Cavs, Heat, Celtics and Mavs. Then the injuries hit.

Even then, it may not have gotten too bad if Westbrook could have just gone full Russ...but guys were in and out of the lineup and they were still trying to fit Russ in.

Let's say Jordan Poole though goes nuts this last stretch and plays well into the playoffs. Do the Warriors cash him out with the extension? What do they do in the off-season about Wiggins. This is still a pivotal time for the Warriors organization as a whole.
