Did you know that Doncic is one of the top 10 defenders in the NBA? Did you know that Steph Curry is one of the top 20 defenders in the league? Did you know Devin Booker was also a top 20 defender? I saw a stat.

Defensive rating (or any advanced stat attempting to measure defense) is flawed at best.

However, Jokic has improved a lot defensively and calling him a 1 way player is discrediting his improvement.

Is he as good as Embiid?

Of course not. But he is playing good team defense this year. Not a 1 way player anymore.

just get to 45 wins....get some playoff experience. They have surprassed everyones wildest expectations. This is a helluva year to build around no matter what happens the last 18 games.

they are either going to sign, or sign and trade Sexton.....Mobley and Garland have both got huge experience.

it sucks- these injuries suck- but ya gotta play through.

My guess is they have to know how badly they miss and could use Sexton and will find a way to keep him. See how everyone fits together next year then figure out what to do....unless someone just wows with a sign/trade offer.

FTR, you can take any defensive statistic that says Jokic > Embiid on the defensive side of the floor and throw it in the trash. When you watch both players play do you think they’re even comparable defensively?

I mean, I say this only seeing Embiid in a handful of games this season but the guy comes across as lazy and disinterested on D at times....and, yes, he's more worried about being on a poster than playing tough D sometimes.
