Embiid: 29.3, 11.1, 4.5, 1.0., 1.5 / .491 / .360 (45 games)

Both having great seasons. Didn't feeling looking up how many double-double & trip-dub's each have so far. I know Jokic has several trip-dub's though. Each time he gets one the local news mentions it.

Jokic has more help than Embiid, team records are basically a wash. Can Embiid avoid a late season injury derailing him again?

As the only 3 times the 2 teams have faced each other last 2 seasons, Jokic has played and Embiid has been in street clothes.

I want to see them head up. But it isn’t Jokic’s fault that we haven’t. He played all 3 games.

Jokic has worked very hard to become an average defender. Embiid is one of the best rim protectors in the game and arguably the best two way player on the planet right now with KD.

Not sure how it’s a Homer take to say the one guy is an elite two way player and the other guy is just elite offensively and just another guy defensively.

In determining who the better player is?

Yes.

I want to see them actually face each other.

Jokic’s stats are better. Embiid is the better defender.

What happens when they play each other? If they both play well, as expected, then it is no help. If 1 does a lot better than the other, then you are closer to an answer.

1 game? Not so much. But a 4 game trend over 2 seasons could provide insight.

But Embiid hasn’t played in the first 3.
