Better candidate than Steph.
Steph is no longer top 3 IMO.
KD
Giannis/DeRozan

Steph numbers this year are not great and people need to realize this
Better candidate than Steph.
Clarkson. You guys love picking up Lakers leftovers....
Walton
Nance
Rondo
And there's a few more I can't think of.....LOL.
I guess you got a Chicago-Utah finals then? Repeat of 97 & 98.
I tend to agree. DeRozan is top 5 IMO. LeBron deserves a look too.Steph is no longer top 3 IMO.

Sure but if all you meant was currently tied for 1st in the standings then ok. I thought you have them as....the best team in the East. They are not.Never said that. When they choose MVP, they take standings into play....not which team they think is better.
It is a regular season award so if the Bulls happen to finish 1st out East then that.
DeRozan or Giannis on a top seed in the East for example is a better candidate than KD on a 3rd or 4th seed Nets team.
Not saying it plays out this way but standings and stats are 2 crucial factors into the MVP in this league. This isn't MLB where players on mediocre teams win that award frequently....otherwise Jokic would easily be a top 2 candidate this season
There ya go and there's another one I can't put my finger on.Clarkson.
To be fair, last year it was LaVine.DeRozan, 26.8ppg, 5rpg, 4.5apg, and 0.9spg while shooting 50%, 37%, and 88%
LaVine? 26.3ppg, 5.1rpg, 4.4apg, 0.5spg while shooting 50%, 42%, and 84%.
Pretty even but the difference is the Bulls are winning now whereas they weren't before.

Still a lot of story to be written.
ShaqThere ya go and there's another one I can't put my finger on.
His numbers are better than Lavine. 26/5/5 on 50% shooting for the top team in the East.
Top 3 MVP Candidate in my book
Yeah, remember him now.....another one I can't quite place. It's pissing me off.Shaq
Stop it.His numbers are almost identical to LaVine’s.
There are a lot of reasons the Bulls have taken a leap this season. DeRozan is a big 1. But they also added Vuc at the deadline and Lonzo + Caruso.
Trying to insert DeRozan into the MVP convo is huge overreaction to the success of the team.
Curry has a better record and better stats in the stronger conference with less talent around him.
DeRozan has made a huge difference on that team.
LaVine has been there a while and they didn't become this good till DeRozan showed up.
DeRozan is the biggest reason IMO. Take him off that team and they're .500.Vucevic, Lonzo Ball and Caruso showed up too.
Let’s not pretend this is all DeRozan.
DeRozan, 26.8ppg, 5rpg, 4.5apg, and 0.9spg while shooting 50%, 37%, and 88%

This.Curry stats is not better than DeRozan. Also stronger conference? Most would disagree with that so far. Curry is 4% below his career numbers in fg% and 3 pt %. DeRozan is far more efficient
