DeRozan has made a huge difference on that team.

LaVine has been there a while and they didn't become this good till DeRozan showed up.
And Vucevic says hello

Curry stats is not better than DeRozan. Also stronger conference? Most would disagree with that so far. Curry is 4% below his career numbers in fg% and 3 pt %. DeRozan is far more efficient

His stats are down because he isn’t playing alongside 2 other top offensive threats. Vuc and Lavine are way better offensively than anything the Warriors have and Lonzo is a good catalyst.

Meanwhile Curry is the focal point of everything in GS.

And are you sure that DeRo is more efficient?

Curry has a higher True shooting percentage 60.9 vs 59.5 and more wins shares per 48.

DeRo does have a slight edge in PER.

Jokic is playing at a ridiculous level and the only reason he’s not the clear answer for most is that mpj and Murray are out for the year

Yep. As I said, had this been MLB then he is a top 2 candidate

You said he was a bust as rookie and will never be any good as a shooter.....LOL.

He's turned into a really good player and a sniper from 3.
Most said he was a really bad shooter because he was.

they wont have cap space this offseason anyway.

the following year when Osman and Love come off - they will.....so I was thinking take nothing back more than next year. Thats the offseason where Garland needs to be extended as well I think....
could see Osman resigned before then if he does not need to break the bank.

At the very least, hopefully people will stop saying he didn’t deserve it last year.

He's putting up numbers equal to what he did last year. Which I think are more impressive because the Nuggets are missing their 2nd & 3rd best players.

This season. 25.8 ppg, 14.0 rebs (career high), 7.1 asts, 1.4 stls (tied for career high) .559 FG%

Last season. 26.4, 10.8, 8.3, 1.3, .566 FG%

There ya go and there's another one I can't put my finger on.
what can't you put your finger on? He's a decent player and the Cavs got him and Nance for Frye, IT and Moritz Wagner.

Eh....pretty sure most thought he was a bad shooter.....since he was.

He certainly was.

I believe the point of contention was Wiggy saying he wouldn’t improve enough to be a good pro.

He even went so far as to say that he wouldn’t want Lonzo on the Cavs even for a dirt cheap price.

Don't doubt he went overboard with something (or made an extreme comment) but those calling him out for saying the guy couldn't shoot is kooky talk (since pretty sure we all believed he'd never be a good shooter).

Yep. He has done a great job working on his shot and has become better than anyone thought he would.

But we cant pretend that he wasnt flirting with the bust label for awhile.

Again though, that isn’t what he is being called out for.

We all said he couldn’t shoot. Because he couldn’t.
