New Years Eve partying is often called "amateur hour"

Yep haven't done it in 5+ years. When I saw a normal $25 uber ride home cost me $75+, I retired from being out after 12 on NYE where I would need to take an uber.

When my friends invite us over and tell us dinner isn't until 8 I'm seriously concerned. My wife starts work at 6 am, so by the time it's 5 pm, she's starving and we eat around 6. We're just prepping ourselves for the early bird specials in the future.

Yeah the other wife works till 7 and were going out to dinner after but we aren’t doing that anymore. Just drinks later so we will see, might be asleep on the bar by 11
