No offense but this debate is dumb so I’m gonna King Solomon this shit. Both sides are going to the opposite extreme.
-Whiteside not an elite player and big deal he got looks unwarranted
- Whiteside was never so bad that he was out of the league. He’s been around as a legit NBA performer for a decade.

It’s somewhere in the middle. One thing we can all agree on…Hassan Whiteside really isn’t worth a multi year, multi page debate.

Move on or Ima cut that fucking baby in half!

He’s been better than TT.

I would by no means call myself an "extrovert", but I do like going out at least once in a while.

My parents always have had a big New Years party, with tons of family and friends - anyone can invite people. My uncle lines up shots of Crown Royal (with a proprietary mix) and I have seen (at least ) 25+ shot glasses lined up at one time- everyone drinking.

Its usually a very good time, and sometimes more than 50-60 people on some years. I have 3 brothers, and a ton of cousins and we all invite friends- my parents have a pretty nice house for it. tons of people inside- tons of people smoking in the garage that they set up like a rec room which is pretty hilarious. tons of good food. Now its just another night. Kinda sucks.

whaaaaaaat? exxagerate? He went from a max guy people were saying should get DPOY attention, and people were claiming he was one of the best centers in the league to taking back to back minimum contracts on different teams- playing 15 minutes a game off the bench.

the difference between max player people were heralding as a defensive force and dominant center- to being a back-to-back vet minimum guy playing 15 minutes a night cannot POSSIBLY be over-exaggerated. lol. Cmon.

You are insufferable.

I am backing you up here and you can’t accept anything less than total victory.

But yes, you did exaggerate because you said he would be out of the league and he isn’t.

And potentially get a starting gig somewhere.

He started for Portland just 2 years ago and averaged 15.5ppg and 13.5rpg.

And got benched in the playoffs after Nurkic returned.

Yeah his starting days are over. Bench is a great role for him. He can be very productive in limited minutes and there is nothing wrong with that. He just needs to stay on teams that actually like using big centers which is why going to Sac made no sense to me.

Exactly.

His stats always overstated his actual value, which was Wiggy’s point. Drummond is kind of going through something similar right now.

But he is a valuable piece when used by the right team in the correct role.

I'm going to be asleep by 10 and going to thoroughly enjoy it. I'm tired of the party circuit, lol.

Yeah going out on new years eve is pointless. Uber prices are insane as well

I haven’t partied in forever but a couple invited us out. Gonna be a late night, we aren’t going out till 9:30. I’m usually in bed or at least resting on the couch by that time

House parties are more of a preference for me. And even now these days I would want to leave at 11, lol. I've had my fair share of partying. Living an hour plane ride from Vegas has done a number on my bank account over the years.

When my friends invite us over and tell us dinner isn't until 8 I'm seriously concerned. My wife starts work at 6 am, so by the time it's 5 pm, she's starving and we eat around 6. We're just prepping ourselves for the early bird specials in the future.

lol

We have some friends that the wife has a New Years Eve birthday. They used to have big New Years Eve/birthday parties back in the day. Then it became a few of us going out to dinner and a movie and everyone was back home by 10.

We haven't even done that in probably 4 years.

Yep. But Wiggy is still under 30 years old isn't he? It's different for youngsters
