Hanging on to a bench spot? Is he not the first big that comes off the bench for Utah nightly? The onl time recently you can say he was hanging on to a bench spot was with the Kings. With Portland and Utah, he was an important player
He's actually playing really well for the Jazz.

I am good with Rondo. They just needed someone - anyone that can get the team into their offense- and not having to give up any assets to get the guy is a nice step.

This will give them some time before the trade deadline to see if Rondo can help. If he cant- he will be gone- and they can use some of the fairly decent 2nd round picks they have- Houston and San Antonio- to pick up someone else.

Honestly- the Cavs dont need 3 rookies next year. They have plenty of young guys. Keep the first rounder unless you find a deal you really like- and use the 2nd rounders to get a guy from a bad team.

Honestly- I think Terrance Ross is my favorite guy, but there are others too. Ross is also signed next year for like 11 million. He would be a good fit if you ask me.

I just posted about how great Lonzo has been.

apparently he just had to get to a real coaching staff ;)
You said he was a bust as rookie and will never be any good as a shooter.....LOL.

He's turned into a really good player and a sniper from 3.

Only guys with one year left on their deal. Keep that cap space

You guys love picking up Lakers leftovers....

Walton
Nance
Rondo

And there's a few more I can't think of.....LOL.
A. Walton came to the Cavs because the Lakers gave him a very shitty contract- and he was part of the deal to get Nance-- the Lakers didnt want to spend the money on Walton since they knew they screwed the pooch on his deal- so big Dollars Dan slapped the wallet down and said- sure we can take Walton if you give us something.

B. Nance is GOOD. He would be a GREAT fit right now on the Lakers. He was a fan favorite for the Cavs until they just dealt him for a 24 year old Lauri Markkenen who is going to be a part of their core going forward

C. Have fun with Valentine. But trust me- he isnt the guy getting you back over the .500 mark. lol.

they wont have cap space this offseason anyway.

the following year when Osman and Love come off - they will.....so I was thinking take nothing back more than next year. Thats the offseason where Garland needs to be extended as well I think....

10th season in the NBA. That is a solid career for anyone drafted in the 2nd round

He was a projected lottery pick

Until he was called the worst interview ever at the combine

God I’d kill to know what he said in those interviews

Obviously Miami believes that their "program" can do a lot of things for players. I think they gave him the max with the full confidence that they could get him in line.

its hilarious that their powers just could not touch Whiteside. He was just impervious. A year or so in they realized it just was not gonna happen. HE was never going to get with the program.

Doesn't change anything i just said. 10 years is a hell of a career for a 2nd round pick. Shit a lot of mid to late 1st rounders don't make it this long

DJ, you didn’t win either though bro.

Not the right time to be taking a victory lap.

Whiteside is a role player.
You missed it but Wiggy said Whiteside would be out of the League. This was when he played for the Heat.

Whiteside is still playing.
