honestly- it actually makes me feel better....it cracks me up seeing him as a vet. min. player hanging on to a bench spot. lol.

Oh man. Its too funny. I remember how hyped that guy was. It was total fools gold. Empty calories.

There have been a LOT of NBA players that gave you empty calorie stats- but I really dont know if any one has ever done it on the scale of Whiteside while totally duping a team to give him a max contract. Its really fairly unprecedented- as least as far as I can see.

Hanging on to a bench spot? Is he not the first big that comes off the bench for Utah nightly? The onl time recently you can say he was hanging on to a bench spot was with the Kings. With Portland and Utah, he was an important player
