Not even sure it matters. Gonna be over cap regardless as will pay sexton (or get players back in a deal) then pay Garland, as well.

Just glad we have an owner with an obscene will to win who is not gonna let this team break up because he wont pay guys (who are worthy of being paid).

Yep the final year of Garland’s rookie contract. Gilbert has no issues digging in his pockets but it will depend on what they do with Sexton

They don’t have LM, Love, Stevens and Sexton.
Boston is no slouch bc they play solid defense.
BKN, PHX and GS might be the 3 best teams in the NBA right now, at least they are playing like it. I would take 2-3 but if they could steal a few a 3-2 it would be amazing imo

At this point, the Cavs could probably get a 1st for Rubio BUT I think he is too important to this team and if they keep winning…I would suggest they sign him to a deal actually. He is still only 30.

completely agree...unless someone just wows us (and doubt they would). Gonna need another guard whether Sexton stays or not.

But people forget how good bosh was before becoming a stretch 4 in Miami

No doubt Bosh was really good. why I said no disrespect to him. Was more about how high I thought Mobley's ceiling might be.

Yeah, he's kind of easy to forget because he has developed to the point that he is starting to live up to that draft status, he didn't play like a #2 right out of the gate.

why can't they be higher than 6-8? Could be a 6-8 this year and Allen, Sexton, Garland, Mobley, Markkenen (even Okoro) are anywhere from 2- 6 years from their prime years.

Keep what up? He's been solid, not great. Shooting % is actually pretty bad which I would imagine other teams know. Someone wants to offer a replacement and a #1? sure....have at it.
