LeBron without a doubt is not only top 5 but I think he's top 3 (I have # 2 all time). I'm not sure I can put Pierce in the Celtics top 5 all time. Bird (after this no real order), Russell, McHale, Havlicek, Cowens (ROY, A.S. game MVP, League MVP, 2x champ). Nope don't got PP in my Celtics top 5. STFU Paul!

I think it's 50/50 depending on where the Clippers are in the standings.

They aren't going to rush him.

He signed long-term. So, why jeopardize the next 3 years if they aren't in a position to go far?

The Celtics were awful for years until they formed their own super team by acquiring Garnett and Allen.

Just because they did it via trade and Pierce was the one who stayed home doesn’t mean Pierce “built it from the ground up”.

Pierce was a vital cog, but he didn’t build a damn thing.
