This is supposed to be funny?

We were under .500 (16-17 I believe) when the name was changed
It is poor timing to rename the court the Crypt when you have so many aged players though, lol.

Realistically how?

Too much gray area around minor injuries.

Very easy to exaggerate an injury and use it as a reason to sit a guy capable of playing.

Teams would just learn to get around any rule made.
Pop has done this for years....even when people weren't hurt

Just saying THT's 40 is just as impressive as Klay's night.
The common term for that is stat stuffing but I guess you gotta hang onto whatever you can this year as a Laker fan

He did though. He’s better at both ends. He kept the group together and relevant through a distraction that historically kills teams to produce a better result than what Jokic did. It is what it is. People are in love with analytics. I have a tweet that goes into it. It’s a long one. I’ll post it later. It unravels many of these metrics and shows how they’re slanted to prop up one style of attack over another.
more to the point, does not prop up your guy?

That’s your assumption of my point. I’ve been pretty consistent in criticizing analytics. Go look at the tweet and give me your thoughts.

Exactly.

There is no way to keep teams from sitting players out.

More days off and fewer games would reduce the need for healthy players to rest.

Back to backs are just part of the game. They are the best athletes in the world, shouidnt be a big deal.

In the 70's they had back to back to back games and there were no team planes or chartered flights.

Not sure why Miami would want to contribute to Nets being the 9 or 10 seed. Miami would rather avoid Nets in round 1 and instead play Hawks or Cavs or Hornets
Not sure Miami can really have a lot of say there. Nets win tonight and I'm pretty sure they are the 7 seed to start. That said, lose game 1 and win game 2 of play in they are then the 8 seed.

They can't go below 70-72 though. That would suck.

They wouldn’t need to.

But even then, why would that suck?

82 games is unnecessary

It’s necessary for revenue apparently. Seriously though, once guys got used to 72 games then some would think sitting 10 games still helped.
